While moving from Utah to Connecticut we had some engine troubles that needed immediate attention. They know exactly what they’re talking about (decades of experience will do that) and were able to diagnose the issue despite my poor explanations. They were able to get us in immediately and replace the parts within 2 hours and get us on our way. Excellent service and totally fair with their estimates. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Where do I begin. These guys have no idea what they are talking about or doing when it comes to cars. You are far better off taking your car anywhere but this place. A basic oil change, and they forgot to put my drain plug in completely, my engine blew up, left me stranded on the side of the road, and they refused to deal with it or compensate me or replace my engine. This is ridiculous. No one should ever be subjected to something like this for something as simple as an oil change. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

I had some options on where I could take my vehicle for a repair. When I asked the person on the phone for a labor and parts quote on a vehicle, I was told "you don't want to do that". And given a lengthy explanation why I shouldn't get a quote. Any trained or certified repair shop will use a repair guide with labor estimates and parts estimates. Clearly this person either isn't trained, certified, or is using some other system for running their business. In any case, I didn't appreciate the tone or the way the person treated me and my wife on the phone and so we took are car somewhere else to be repaired.

In for a oil change. Brian and Chuck did their usual excellent service. Best auto service in the metro, for all jobs big and small. Both skilled and knowledgeable technicians. I recommend Apex Automotive to all my friends and family.

My elderly mother takes her car here and always receives great service at fair prices. Above that, she is treated respectfully and kindly by everyone who works there. Recently she noticed a foul odor and burning smell from under the hood. We took a look and discovered a dead squirrel that was too far out of reach for us to get to it. She took it to Apex and Brian and Chuck quickly got it out for her. They refused payment and even refused her offer to give them lunch money at least. Such kind treatment she received and we are so thankful for them. What an incredible business this is with an amazing team of employees. Thank you, Brian, Chuck and everyone else there at Apex!

Obviously a true mechanic, not a tech regurgitating useless babble from a textbook. He knows and understands the mechanics and technical workings of automobils. Anyone who answers their own phone and exresses his passion for his trade and skills in manner he does says it all for me. It says he works hard, takes real pride in his work, not out to take advantage of his customers, just a real honest good mechanic. I say amen, they do exist! Thank you sir, thank you!

I leave a message the night prior for the owner to call me in the morning. Phone rings at 7:45 am. Owner states to bring it in at 8 am and he will look at it. I get to Apex around 8:10 am and owner asks me about problem. He proceeds to change out my starter and get my 2009 Tacoma back to me by 2 pm THE SAME DAY. I HIGHLY ENCOURAGE one to go HERE FIRST when in need of a good, reliable, straight-forward mechanic. Mechanics are often like doctors, I have found. You go to them when in need and you are at their mercy for what they charge. Apex Automotive is the real deal. Good dudes. Good work. Fair price. Brian, thank you for being honest. Thank you for being a STUD MECHANIC. And thank you for not over-charging me. You have earned my business from here on out.

Just witnessed one of the owners or the owner come outside and threaten two vehicles to move so his customers could park there. The people he was trying to force to move are local Fire Fighters out of uniform. He then threatened “you will be buying air for your tires from me when you are done over there if you don’t move!” Being a business owner myself, I can’t believe this guy has the ability to continue his auto shop. I would strongly recommend staying away from this business and go elsewhere for your automotive work. I will be leaving this review on multiple sites. Thanks for supporting small business and don’t let the lack of professionalism of one small business steer you from others!
