Very busy shop, very good service. I had a 5:30PM reservation to change 4 tires. They completed the job efficiently in 40 minutes despite there were a lot of customers. I requested to keep two front tires, they wrapped in plastic bags for me, which is very thoughtful! But one strange thing is that tire pressure is not right. 30psi on the left 2 tires, and 32psi on the right 2 tires. Please improve on this.

Superb service! One of my tires was losing air faster compared to the other 3. They found that it had a nail and patched it for free. Great staff. Would recommend booking an appointment.

Disappointing Experience I recently visited America's Tire, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. The customer service representative I interacted with was not only dismissive but also downright rude. Their tone and attitude felt unnecessarily hostile, and I couldn’t help but feel like their behavior was influenced by bias, possibly racial. It was a very uncomfortable experience, and I left feeling disrespected and unheard. Customer service should be welcoming and inclusive, and this interaction was anything but. I hope management takes steps to ensure all customers are treated with fairness and respect in the future.

I was introduced to America's Tire by my mechanic 7 years ago when I needed new tires for a Toyota Highlander. Recently one of the Highlander tires received a nail puncture. Though the tires still had tread, we don't drive that much and they were getting old. I discussed the options with Carlos and decided to buy a new set of tires rather than repairing the old one. He gave me an excellent credit for the remaining tread life and the car handles so much better with the new tires. At that time I learned that America's Tire would rotate the tires on our Tesla, which was about due. I brought it in, and it was a service they provided without charge. America's Tires prices are fair, their service personnel are friendly and knowledgeable, and the operation runs efficiently, what more could you ask for? Highly recommended.

I normally don't write service reviews. But today I was shocked when they told me it is free service after they fixed my slowly leaking tire with a stuck nail. It's really a gem in this time when everything is so costly. Their staff are very friendly and efficient too, highly recommend!

I ordered some tires online and brought them in for install a month or so back. There was a small leak (not a road puncture) so I brought it in instead of dealing with the website/shipping/etc. (Manufacturer defect that you would have to patch from the inside). The team found even more manufacturer defects on the bead and offered to replace the tire for free and work with the manufacturer to get the replacement for their back-stock. 5 stars for the team! 01.2025

Brokaw location - very dissapointing experience. Brought my car in for a tire fix. The tire had a small nail in the middle of a repairable area and was not leaking, so should had been an easy fix. Since I got an appoinment they took my car in fairly quickly, and said it will take about an hour. However they were done in 10 minutes, but nobody came to talk to me, until I noticed after 45 minutes in the tracking app that my car was already done. So I had to go find my salesperson to see what is the status. He had no idea, until he found the paperwork, and just said that the tire is not repairable without any comprehensive explanation, or offering other options. Also they lost the tire valve cap, and they didn't inflate it back to the recommended pressure, so later I started getting lost pressure warnings. I normally go to the Stevens Creek location where I have always gotten a good service, but they were all booked until January so I opted for Brokaw since they had appointments available still in December, but now I know why. Also parking at the Brokaw location is confusing and when I arrived there was nowhere to park, so I had to park down the block on the street and then walk back.

Busy as heck, solid tire shop. Really need a bigger facility. Been using them on and off for a decade. They run a little behind due to how overworked they are, but they're friendly and do good work. Great folks, hope they get good holiday bonuses.

I was helped promptly, as soon as an assistant was available. The wait time I was given was longer than the actual time it took, so I was happy about that. Overall my experience was conducted professionally by the personnel at the store.

Ignored for 40 minutes for air check, they walk by you without acknowledgment or ETA. The young guy outside shouldn't be working with the public, and it's a completely different attitude in another shop.

My Brass valve stem covers were stolen and replaced with plastic ones. Didn’t realize till 2 days later. Not worth driving 30 miles to complain so I’ll just leave a review online instead…. Guy at the front counter was nice. That pretty much sums up my experience. SJ scum doing SJ scum things.

Pack a Lunch! I brought my car in around 1:00pm, they said it'd be done by 4:00pm and I finally left at 5:30pm. The salesman pressured me to pay IN ADVANCE so I was stuck - no other America's Tires has done that to me. Also, there are no shops or restaurants within walking distance - I spent 4.5hrs of my life in their tiny waiting room. I like the company America's Tires but there are other locations around here. Go to one of them. Ed. I do not click on links to 'provide feedback' since it wastes my time (4.5hrs is enough) and harvests my data, but does not benefit me. Henceforth, I will just go to the Mountain View location. I used to go there when I lived in Mid Peninsula: they always had great service, don't push around customers, and have two nearby shopping centers to pass the time. If the San Jose location wants to improve their customer service they can ask the MtView management for some tips - it's not my job to teach companies about customer service! (certainly it is not my UNPAID job)

The service here is shoddy at best now. Used to be great. I ordered online, made an appointment, and arrived a half hour early. Wasn't even seen until 15 minutes after my supposed appointment. These clowns have no idea what an appointment actually means. With an appointment, you have a bay ready at the appointed time for your customer. Then they tell me they don't actually have my tires, and I would have to choose another brand. Not coming back, ever.

I’ve been coming here for years and service is always great. I had an air leak in my tire that they fixed for free. My mom’s car had a flat tire that we bought from here a year or two ago and they also replaced it since it was still under warranty. Shoutout to Brad for the great service.

Everyone here was so kind! I needed a new tire but they didn’t have the one I needed in stock. They sent a courier to pick it up from a different warehouse and I had my car back the same day!

DO NOT GO HERE THEY WILL DAMAGE YOUR VEHICLE, they damaged my brothers Mercedes wheels and tried to say it came like that when he instructed the employee NOT TO DRIVE THE CAR ON THE WHEELS THE WAY THEY WERE , and they insisted that the vehicle would be fine, only to claim it was already damaged. No accountability from these amateurs. Must be a new crew fresh out of elementary since they can’t seem to avoid damaging wheels from others reviews

Free air and puncture :). Take appointment so no need to wait. For air , you do not need appointment. They give updates when you are waiting in lobby till your are car is getting fix. They explain problem very well so you can take your decision.

I went in today for a tire repair (got nail). Carlos was very quick to help me out. When he read the thread wear with his handheld device, it showed two 4/32 and one 3/32 on the bad tire. The nail was in the middle. Carlos said I had to change tire and they won't do any repair if thread is below 4/32. I asked if this is a store policy or company policy he said it's company policy. I later pointed to Carlos on the advertisement board inside the waiting room where it says from 4/32, America's Tire recommends changing. From 2/32, America's Tire will not repair a tire. He said oh really, and that he didn't know about that and thought it was 4/32 that they stop servicing. This sounded sketchy to me. But still he couldn't repair it because the tire is not aligned. I asked if the 1/32 matters, he said yes even if off by 1/32 they wouldn't repair because it's misaligned. I am quite skeptical to be honest. Because unless you are in a perfect condition, there is always gonna be a 1/32 difference at some point between the three threads. Plus, that handheld device is a sensor that has its own error. Carlos also warned me because of the misalignment, the 4/32 side is not gonna contact the ground to create friction. Buddy come on, if it's not gonna contact the ground, what's causing it to be grinded down to 4/32? Just emailed America's Tire/ Discount Tire to verify this, since Carlos claimed it's a company policy. If the owner of this store can see this review, can you please confirm such policy exists, and that you must deny customer's repair request due to 1/32 difference? Thank you!

Pros: friendly, good service (they actually use a torque wrench), quick service if you have an appointment Cons: most people who came in for tire repair were sold new tires, says should consider buying new tires at 4/32" tread or you'll have hard time stopping your car, no appointment results in several hours of wait
