Car was having issues on the way to work on a Monday morning. I dropped off my car at this shop at 9:30am and by 10:40am I had a quote for repair. Got the texted quote and approved it on my mobile. I had my car back by 2:30pm same day, repaired and better than ever. Great service!

I was at the nearby hospital from 8am-4pm as my 10 year old was having surgery. I came out to a completely flat tire (slow leaked all day evidently) and I was able to get my PSI to 26 before my plug-in air compressor overheated. The security officer at the hospital referred me to this Auto Shop which was right down the street. They plugged my tire very quickly without me having to remove my 10 year old out of my truck. Outstanding customer service! Forever grateful!

After getting a quote from the dealership for a repair and feeling it was too high, I went to Alternative Motors for my Subaru Outback. I wanted to get some items for my suspension replaced and they were friendly and gave me a good price. They updated my work mid repair asking to essentially replace my entire suspension (struts and coils) because there was a creaky noise. This was an additional $2000 on top of my original $1600 quote. I declined the repair and drove it for a bit, there was indeed a very grating sound that wasn’t there before. After communicating with them and getting nowhere, I took it back to the dealership. The dealership took a brief look at it and said most of the nuts and bolts of the parts alternative motors replaced were loose. The loose install was dangerous and required me to replace my ball joint because the grating from the loose connection wore it down. I called them and asked about a warranty. The first response was, “yes we have a warranty, I wish you would have taken it here first.” So the company that tried to charge me $2k extra for their poor work has now complained I didn’t trust their judgement. I had the dealer fix it because I value my health, and decided this was no longer worth the hassle. The bolts just had to be tightened and the ball joint replaced (because of the loose install) and everything was perfectly fine after. I hope the technician was just having a rough day because they were repairing it on Saturday, and after reading reviews I’m surprised at this experience. But if you are driving a Subaru I would not recommend this shop. I got the notification via text of the extra $2k of repair without any extra communication via text. HOWEVER, the shop cat is very cute so 1 star for that. Summary: took car here for a repair. They send me a notification of $2k more work. Take it to the dealership and the mechanics find everything was installed loosely.

Let me edit this since the owner of this establishment made time to reply to this review. In the same condescending way he spoke to me in person. So, let me simplify my review. Noone asked you or had expectations that my car would be fixed in one day. As a "Customer" my expectations of you are professionalism, communication, ACCURATE information when it's given, and CUSTOMER SERVICE! All of which YOU lacked that day. My advice to you would be to put your energy into actually providing "customer service", instead of pushing a false narrative on a completely accurate review. I made time today. Stay blessed.

They charged me $140 to tell me exactly what I told them was wrong with my truck and that they can’t do that type of fix instead of just letting me know ahead of time. Oh, and they didn’t reconnect everything when they were done. Sucks because everyone was pretty nice.

Very kind and helpful! We were on a road trip from Missouri, getting ready to leave for home the next day, when the check engine light came on. Rod (I think) was very helpful and quick. *Note* They have an office cat so if you’re among the humans who have allergies be aware of this before you go in the office.

WARNING !!!! SCAMMED!! 25$ PATCH DONE INCORRECTLY NOW I NEED TO BUY A NEW TIRE MANAGER WONT HELP Had a flat in Dallas went home to San Antonio 1 hour into my drive I hear rumbling and tire gets shredded. They didn’t reset my tpms light so it was on the whole time they said just drive and it’ll go away. Of course I called manager said come back to Dallas so we can TALK?! Also 25$ FOR A TIRE PATCH THAT WASNT EVEN PUT ON RIGHT ??? CANT EVEN REFUND ME AND OFCOURSE I PAID CASH. PAY CREDIT CARDS BECYASE YOU CAN ALWAYS BACKCHARGE IF THEY FAIL TO DO THE JOB RIGHT YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I started out my morning with a very low tire. I stopped by Alternative Autocare as it was in my neighborhood. This was my first experience here and while the weather was awful, the service was great. The service team took me in quickly even though they seemed pretty busy. They repaired the tire and got me back on the road super fast. Total time spent waiting was roughly 20 minutes. I live fairly close by and will now be using them going forward.

I visited this establishment today b/c I thought I needed a new battery. Mohammed inspected my battery & informed me that I only had a loose cable. He tightened the cable & sent me on my way in 30 minutes. As a woman, getting your car serviced can be a headache b/c you don’t know who will try to take advantage of you & over charge. I appreciated Mohammed’s honesty & would recommend this business to anyone who needs their car serviced!

Mohammed is a great guy - had an alignment done and my car broke down the next day due to something completely unrelated, but I called and yelled at him inappropriately, he was extremely professional and explained to me what was going on, and told me he was glad I was safe even after I behaved poorly on the phone. He does good work & is a great dude.

This is right near my place so I just called with 45 min til close to see if they could patch my tire quickly before the weekend. I had hardly finished with what I needed before they told me to come in! They had me on patched and on my way in 20 minutes and for a fair price. Very pleased with the service for both customer and car!
