I called a few places and went to multiple automotive glass repair & replacement shops in San Jose and this is by far the best pricing, warranty and quality of work that there is available. Al's Auto Glass offers a 5 year warranty as well. I saved roughly $200 by having my frontshield replacement done here and it was completed within less than 2 hours! CAN'T BEAT IT!!! Make sure you call "Al's Auto Glass" directly for the best offer because the shop location is shared by another Auto Glass Owner as well that charges a different price and different warranty, so make sure you speak directly with Al for the longer warranty and cheaper price. Al's Auto glass scheduled and completed in the same day at a competitive quoted price. The technician, Jaun Carlos, did an excellent job cleaning out all the broken glass inside the door and completing the job in about an hour. I would recommend this business to a friend any day.

Misunderstanding rectified happy, loyal customer i would recommend this service to anyone, even in a sticky situation; everything worked out. Jose came once he realized its the wrong windshield and went to pick up the right windshield. The price Al quoted was for the front. My friend and i talked to him both and said rare (back). Before Jose came the next day. Because of assumptions and no clarifications, there was a misunderstanding. Al allowed me to keep the original price he quoted and gave me a 50$ discount. I called so many places for a quote. They were all very high, up to 650$. I got the best price, and how it was handled went beyond and above. Al; was gracious and asked me if i wanted to keep the price the same, that it was up to me that's excellent service their he understood. Ask your customers what they want. Understand the cost of losing one customer. Keep your promises to your customers. Don’t waste your customers’ time. Reward your loyal customers with generosity. Make your customers feel important. Update Jan 2023: Repeat customer. Replaced Honda Odyssey front windshield yesterday. Workmanship was outstanding. Although Al's Auto Glass responded late with my request for a replacement windshield, Al’s price was $230 and commitment to replace the windshield later today on Monday. I immediately canceled my Thursday appointment with another vendor for a slightly higher quote and would have required me to drive to vendor's site and wait for 4 hours. Al's mobile service was very convenient. David, the technician, worked in the 90+ degree sun and completed the job in less than 30 minutes.

I had a great experience with Al's today. They had replaced my windshield over a year ago, and it had started making a noise while driving on the highway. I called and told them about it and they came out to fix it in my driveway, for free. They have a lifetime guarantee and they really stand by it. Also, they were very friendly and professional. Highly recommended!!

Verdict: Fantastic customer service, fast replacement, great brand for a windshield, and a great price too! I would recommend 100%! I had quite the crack on my windshield. I called this shop for an estimate, and I got an approximate 240 dollar estimate for a Pilkington windshield (installation included). The overall replacement was quick and convenient. What makes me write this review is that at any place that I went to, I got an inflated estimate. Why did I get such an estimate? Simple, because it is a Mercedes and an ///AMG. But here, I called and got a Mercedes-used brand for approximately 240 dollars. That is what I call a steal!

I had few problems with safelite which is what my insurance (geico) was recommending. Decided to go with Al. Happy with end result. I was returning the car after lease. So I can't say about the quality. Overall happy with them.

I left a request for service/estimate for a windshield replacement on my 2007 Infiniti on Al's online form. Within a couple of hours I received a call with the estimate and an appointment for the very next day. They came to my house, completed the replacement, hauled the old windshield away, and left the interior of my car cleaner than it was before! The appointment time needed to shift a little, but the office did a great job of communicating, calling me several times to keep me updated on arrival time. The price was very reasonable, and both the office and the technician were very nice. I used Al's because he was recommended to me word-of-mouth by two friends, and I would definitely recommend him to others.

My truck got broken into 3 weeks ago and safelite auto glass was supposed to install all 4 new windows that got broken but They called me the same day Of the install appointment to say they would take and other month to have my windows shipped in and installed. Screw them!!! Called Al’s auto glass and the got all 4 windows window installed next day. They weren’t OEM but they look just fine. They did a great job! Muy muy buen trabajo!!! Alvaro and Coral were super helpful With all the insurance stuff and installation.!! call them!!

Very reasonable price and the tech came to my workplace to put in the glass. Excellent customer service. The work was done quickly and professionally during our current heat wave. The tech was awesome (thank you Carlos). I emailed for an estimate first. That came really quickly. Another firm I emailed didn't bother to reply. Liked the price and called for an appointment. Great experience with the appointment maker who was very courteous and accommodating. Give these guys your business. Great team, great price.

I got my window repaired on the same day, other places had a month wait and where more expensive. I was helped by Samuel and he was super professional. There was a slight mistake with my car model which rendered the new window useless and he worked hard to get me the correct one. Plus he cleaned the broken glass which I did not expect, I definitely recommend these guys!

I highly recommend Al's auto glass, he was very professional and reasonably priced compared to other windshield replacement shops. He came to the house and worked diligently and in about an hour was done. Al did not charge extra for mobile service as some other shops did. I would use Al again if ever needed!

Installed next day. By far the best price for a new OEM windshield (mobile installation included). The installer was professional. Called me 30 minutes before arrival and took a hour to complete. It rained the next day - no leaks or complaints. Easy cash transaction, was emailed the receipt, would recommend.

I woke up to this wonderful Monday morning to my drivers side window smashed in and my car ravaged. I called around about 5 places and I finally came across Al’s auto glass. He was the cheapest ( $210) and he came to me which was amazing considering it’s raining and I have no window. The gentleman that came was absolutely a delight to work with, he was kind and very detailed with what he was going to be doing to my car. He replaced my window AND cleaned up all the glass inside my car in just 35 minutes. I have never been more pleased with the service rendered or the price quoted! I will absolutely being using them again granted I have another unfortunate accident!!! Thank you so much for your help!! #lifesavers

My car got broken into last night. I called several places in the Peninsula and South Bay and no one could help me out today because they were either out of stock or plain too busy! Budget Auto Glass in the peninsula referred me to Al's because of their inventory of glass in stock! Al saved me a huge headache!! He had what I needed repaired in stock. He adjusted his schedule around to fit me in! The installers were prompt and responsible! They thouroughly cleaned the glass out. Needed a windshield replacement on short notice after a collision. Other places were booked up to a week but I was able to get Al's out to me the next morning. Service is friendly, price was very competitive, the work was done quicker than expected and looked great in the end. I wish all auto repairs were this painless! Will definitely be saving their number for the future.
