I dropped off my vehicle here after Firestone informed me they send out the wheel for repair to them. I dropped off the vehicle on Monday morning and it’s a simple hairline crack that would take a simple grind, weld, and finish. Two days was the given estimate so pickup should’ve been Wednesday or even early Thursday. Due to their incompetence with parts and having proper materials, my repair was consistently pushed. I informed them this was my livelihood and I needed the car ASAP. I’m still waiting for them to finish and rather than reach out and keep me updated, I have had to call, multiple times without answer as well. I know for a fact from my time working at a factory, this repair is not something that should take more than 2 hours. On top of all of this, they only actually work prior to 1pm and then all their technicians leave for the day. It’s slow and inefficient.

My service from and interaction with AWRS Danbury were nothing less than superb and I could not have asked for a better experience. When buying new tires, my mechanic found one of the wheels on my 2009 Volvo S80 to be bent. The mechanic sent the wheel to AWRS for repair and they received it back three days later with the wheel restored back to correct form before the new tires were mounted. Based on this first experience I personally drove the hour from home to AWRS Danbury to have them repair the rims which had fifteen years of curb rash and damage. I I emailed photos of the rims in advance and received an estimate a few hours later. I dropped off the car on a Friday morning and picked it up on Monday morning with the rims refinished to looking new. Their repair included rebalancing the tires after their repair. Working with AWRS was an excellent experience.

Called and dropped off a rim that was cracked and not holding air, repaired and repainted within 48 hours! Would recommend using service.

The only reason I gave 4 stars and not 5 is because I had the misfortune of bringing my car in when they had a rash of health emergencies. It took 5 business days instead of 1-2 to get my wheel done. But they did a beautiful job that was worth the wait, and they gave me a nice discount to compensate me for the long wait.

I needed two wheels repaired for pothole damage, and brought them here. The damage was a dent/flat in the inner edge of each wheel, and the person at the counter indicated they should be repairable at ~150 each. There were no scratches or wear in the matte black finish on drop off. Upon pickup, the matte black finish on the inside of the wheels was completely destroyed, and when I inquired about it they said it was a side effect of the repair and refinishing would cost extra. I was under the impression that a repair would include bringing the finish back to its original state if it was caused by the repair, but I guess I was mistaken. While the wheels are nicely balanced and drive quite well after the repair, I’m annoyed that one problem was replaced by another that still needs to be resolved. Better communication from the team up-front as to what a “repair” entailed would’ve gone a long way. I’ve attached a before and after picture. The before is with the wheel still on the car before the repair, the after is as received after the repair. EDIT: I'm in the process of reaching out based on the response I received. Emails I send to the email address provided get bounced back with the error message below, so I've left a voicemail at their office. "The response from the remote server was: 550 5.4.1 Recipient address rejected: Access denied" EDIT 2: After getting into contact with the company, they indicated that the wheels shouldn't have been sent out in this condition and they should've been refinished as part of the repair in this instance. I had to return them back to the store for refinishing, but they did that free of charge and it looks much better.

Really great work done to clear curb rash. Looks as if it never happened. Also it was completed really quickly within 1 business day and very cost effective way.

The team here is great, they spent the time with me to make sure I made the bright decision for my truck, and got the wheels powder coated in matte black and they came out amazing - got a lot of compliments on it! Would definitely recommend them.

I would have to say such a great place to get your rims fixed. I had two cracked rims and took it to Alloy wheel repair and they were quick with getting it fixed. I would have to say the employees are very nice and very knowledgeable. I would 1000% recommend them to anyone.

Easy drop off and pick up. Wheel looks the same as when I dropped it off except the tire now holds air. Reasonable priced.

I want to thank Alexus, Pam, & the Technicians who did A Incredible job of reconditioning My 2015 Corvette 3LT Stingray 2 left side Rims that were scratched badly on the outside near tire. At first I was apprehensive & worried that they will match up the same way to original OEM like the right side. Alexus & Pam reassured Me they will be done correctly to My satisfaction & sure enough, THEY DELIVERED A GREAT JOB 👍 Thanks so much TOO ALL who made My Rims Beautiful Again. I'm very satisfied with the work they did on wheels for my Peugeot 504. They repaired bends and curb rash then powder coated the in Satin Poly Gold by prismatic powders. Pam was helpful and to the point. The fellas that work there are also super nice. Highly recommend.

It took 2 tries for them to repair the crack in the wheel so that the tire would hold air, so I had to make a few extra trips there(and putting the wheel on and off the car a few times at home); also I had to follow up a few times myself for status on repair...that said, Alexis was very pleasant and the wheel itself looks nice as they also did remove some curb rash

These guys r just amazing. Never thought my wheel could be restored to it's original condition. Was pretty heavily damaged for a couple of years and it looks brand new now! Their turnaround time is extremely quick as well. Very responsive on the phone too! Would absolutely love to go back!

They don’t give you warranty and they don’t show any pictures of the damage so I fixed my Rim and the next morning was leaking air again, I don’t recommended to fix any rims there.
