The price on tires was more than fair and staff was polite and fast. They offered a few services that were due but not pushy when I declined for now. Will visit again!

Highly recommend this shop!! I've been taking my vehicles there for several years and always receive excellent service. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and provide expert advice whenever asked for it. They routinely recommend the best products when needed and provide some of the FASTEST service you can find in RVA. A stand-out moment for how great they are- When I was looking into purchasing a used vehicle, I requested Allen Tire perform a "Used Car Inspection" before I completed the purchase. Even though it passed Carvana's "Inspection," it seemed like getting a second opinion would be prudent. I am grateful for this foresight, as the team at Allen prevented what may have been a terrible purchase. Within an hour of dropping the vehicle off, they called back with their results. The damage (included missing motor mounts!) clearly indicated that the vehicle had repeatedly been used on the track and abused. The owner removed the performance parts, put on the OEM parts, and sold it to Carvana. The Carvana "inspection" was a joke and didn't catch the major issues that would have prevented the car from passing a VA state inspection. The team at Allen provided all the details of why it was a car to avoid. Their honesty, hard work, knowledge of automotive repair, and amazing staff have earned the two loyal customers. You cannot go wrong with Allen Tire!!

Make sure to add the road hazard to your tire purchase! I purchased four new tires from Allen tire and found a screw in my tire less than a week later. I was so grateful to have road hazard and they replaced the tire at no charge except the mount/balance. They were quick and responsive! I dropped my car off around lunch time and they quickly called me to let me know that the tire was not in stock but they would have one sent over. It was finished by 3:00 that day! Quality products and excellent customer service.

I called Allen Tire when I found a nail in my tire because it came highly recommended by a friend. I’m glad I called because they took me in immediately and finished the repair in just one hour! I was very impressed and pleased with the work. The care they showed and the quick work really helped alleviate the stress I was under. I will definitely go back if I need anything else done on my car.

I have been going to Allen Tires for years. We have been pleased with our service...we have older vehicles but they have always been willing to repair and maintain them. This store (10200 Midlothian) has treated us like family. Mike, Thomas and Ann greets you with a smile and has been extremely courteous and respectful. They exceeded that standard on our last visit. Thomas and Mike went out of their way when we were stranded on Hull St. I will never take my vehicles to anyone else. It is nice to have a repair shop that you can trust.

Recently my daughter had a significant issue with her car. The cost of the repair would have exceeded the value of the car so Mike came up with a creative solution that worked well for her. Mike and his team proved to be both honest and professional. I can highly recommend them without reservation.

After having experienced a very serious car breakdown while driving from Canada to our vacation destination, forced to stop in the Richmond area, during a week-end, when all auto repair centers were closed, and then experiencing some disappointment at the dealer place, after spending several nights at the hotel, we had the chance to be close to the Allen Tire auto repairing center, at 10200 Midlothian Tpke Richmond, Virginia. Fantastic experience, since the beginning to the end. They are so nice, and courteous, friendly and understandable, people who care about their clients satisfaction, true professionals, and honest, when it's time to diagnose and repair your vehicle, and at a very reasonable price. I warmly recommend this place to anyone, and would go back any time without hesitating, in case it happens to be in the area. Thank you again for all!

Called to set appt for my suburban, I need a few repairs. Ann was incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and thorough in answering all of my questions and explaining the process. If the work they do is as excellent as Ann's customer service on the phone, I've no doubt I will continue to use them. Great first impression!

Ann, and all the other associates treat their customers like royalty! I had an issue at different location, and this location took it upon themselves to make it right for me. I recommend visiting! Great place to service your car! Real professionals work here! They use genuine parts to replace parts in your vehicle. Specialist Ilya quickly and efficiently inspected my car and even eliminated several errors! The inspection was quick and inexpensive, it saves your time and you enjoy your working car! I’m leaving a 5 star review because this place is amazing, understanding and quick. I am a first time car owner and I had troubles with the Allen tire in forest hill. They wanted me to leave my car with them for one tire sensor replacement. I explained to them that I don’t have another car to pick up my vehicle and Allen tire in forest hill wasn’t so understanding. I was super stressed and decided to go to this Allen tire in Midlothian and they understood my situation and quickly solved the problem! I am so glad and happy that not only my car got the service it needed but also how I was released from all of the stress that I had! Thank you guys again and I will be seeing you all soon again!

Best mechanic shop ever, I would not go anywhere else. WHEN IT'S DONE, IT'S DONE RIGHT THE FIRST TIME! Starting with the Manager Mike, Thomas & Ann in the front desk, PHILLIP (my favorite technician) and the rest of the team I can tell you that all my experiences with this shop have been not less than GREAT! Not only they are nice and courteous, but they are also true professionals when it's time to diagnose and repair your vehicle. We own several cars at home and when something is wrong with any of them this is the only place I go without hesitation. My daughter had taken her vehicle to several shops and had been quoted several different prices with different diagnosis and we finally were referred to the 10200 Allen Tire and let me tell you they were amazing! Ann was so nice and caring. Everyone there was truthful and broke down everything that was wrong with options about what my 24 year old daughter could do and what recommendations they had for her. They were upfront but very caring. I cannot tell you the relief and the feeling of genuineness this facility and the people have here! Such a great Team! I needed air in my tires but my metal valve caps corroded onto my stems. 😩 Popped in after leaving the Rofo across the street and they were super kind! Got all my tires filled up and even told the truck which tires were where since the sensors were never updated. Thank you so much to Tom and his Team! I don’t live in Midlo, but if I did you’d have a new forever customer!

Edit: I was gotten in touch with by a very nice guy John, who informed me they had made a mistake by charging full synthetic and offered a free oil change or money back. I am very appreciative of the out reach, and resolution. I took the oil change to foster good will in future business. I will be continuing to come to this location with optimism. When I requested an oil change, I was not provided with any information about the cost of the service or any breakdown of the charges I would incur. I have generally paid between $35 and $50 for oil changes at other shops, and I assumed that the cost would be in line with my previous experiences. Regrettably, I did not think to ask for the pricing details since I believed it would be within a reasonable range. To my shock and disappointment, upon picking up my vehicle, I discovered that the cost of the oil change was significantly higher than expected at $139! It was disheartening to be charged such an amount without any prior explanation or warning. Furthermore, my experience at the time of pick-up was made worse by the individual who handled the transaction, because they also did not provide any clarity about the services performed or the charges incurred. It felt as if my presence was an inconvenience, as the person barely acknowledged me, looked away while my receipt printed, and offered no explanation for the costs involved. It wasn’t until the next day looking at my bank account that I realized I was charged double what I was expecting. Despite the convenience of having Allen Tire Richmond located in the same parking lot as my business, I have no intention of returning. I wrote an email to management informing them of my issue and got no response. I'm writing this review, because i'm still broke, and still aggravated. If someone wants to get back to me now that I"ve said publicly I want half my money refunded to change this review.

These guys run an honest shop. I have been taking my car here since 2013 because they always go out of their way to keep me on the road, they are friendly, and provide excellent service.
