5-Star Review for Aldo's Advanced Auto Care I can't recommend Aldo's Advanced Auto Care enough! Aldo replaced my front brakes and was free to point out any other issues I had with the car. Hispatience and dedication were truly impressive. He took the time to do the job right, never rushed, and didn’t stop until everything was perfect. It’s rare to find someone dedicated and committed to their work. I really appreciate the effort and care he put into my car. If you’re looking for someone who goes above and beyond, Aldo is the one to trust. Definitely a five-star experience!

We had a flat tire punctured by two nails on a Saturday evening. We found Aldo nearby who fixed it in 30 minutes at a reasonable price. He was very knowledgeable and honest. Would highly recommend.

Aldo saved my life my car was stuck in the middle of the road and he came to the rescue. Great customer service and reliable. Definitely recommend! He fixed my flat tire and changed it and then he did a tune up and replaced spark plugs , oil change, air filters , and my o2 sensors , cleaned my throttle body and he replaced the suspension. He’s like a car doctor!! Best mechanic in the Bay Area and cheap prices

I drove hundreds of miles to San Jose and had engine problems late night Sunday. Most auto repair shop were closed but I saw Aldo’s Advanced Auto Care on Google and they were open. I was surprised when I came to the location and thought I was lost, but no that was the place. So I met Aldo and he was the most thoughtful person. He worked all night and into the morning to fix my engine problem. This guy was detailed, determined, and was very knowledgeable about cars. I learned a lot from him. For sure I’ll be back! Thanks Aldo!!!

Dropped car off for simple oil change, received car back and the check engine light came on. Took to Speedee and they said the oil filter was installed wrong and the oil pan plug was cross threaded. Do not recommend.

First of all, Aldo is not a licensed mechanic. I learned the hard way. I took my car in for a relatively simple job (to install a new brake booster) and it snowballed into a litany of other issues. He also quoted one price and ended up charging me almost double when he had to spend more time on the job due to his own negligence. The issues I’ve had are almost too many to list. He returned my car with essentially a dead battery, which was less than a year old, that I ended up having to replace. He retuned it with the VSC lights on the dash, which he said would eventually go away after the system reset due to the battery dying. I took the car back to him 5 times over the course of a month to figure out why my car battery kept dying. The VSC lights never reset and eventually the ABS lights came on as well. He eventually admitted to me that in order to install the new brake booster he had to cut some wires to make it work. I was pissed. Took the car to my regular mechanic (who was booked out or else I would have brought it to him originally)…he ran a check and 10 codes popped up. He looked under the hood to find faulty open-ended wiring and an open solenoid. (Pics attached) Aldo says he guarantees his work, but now he won’t return my messages and has refused to take any responsibility for his negligent work. Take to a licensed mechanic instead. Learned the hard way.

I recently moved to the area, and my S550 was in rough shape—coolant had leaked everywhere, and it needed major repairs. Aldo worked on everything: replacing the radiator, intake manifold, spark plugs, ignition coils, batteries, and hoses. This was no small task, but his incredible talent and deep understanding of foreign cars shone through in every part of the process. Aldo is truly an artist in his craft. His expertise with these kinds of vehicles is rare, and you can tell he takes pride in every detail. Beyond just fixing the car, he brought it back to life with precision and care. He’s also a part of the car community, sharing his knowledge through YouTube tutorials, which speaks to his dedication and passion for what he does. Thank you, Aldo, for your amazing work. You’re a true talent, and I’m beyond grateful!

Aldo is a great mechanic. My car had several issues and he is friendly, humble but very knowledgeable. He made the right recommendation for my car and during the process he was sharing information on what he was doing and when to replace certain parts and why. Very affordable and will be returning for the next service as well as recommending Aldo to my friends or anyone that needs some work on their car. I first discovered Aldo’s business when I needed a last minute oil change for my 2016 Toyota Prius. He noticed it was overly tighten from the previous job and suggests I go to an actual mechanic. I had previously taken my car to a gas station to get an oil change but when I took my car to him, he struggled to remove the filter housing being plastic and brittle with long term use. He recommended a metal one on amazon and said he could replace it that same week. Since I had all the materials my oil change was only $25 for labor. When I returned with the metal housing, he went straight into it. Because my plastic filter housing was so brittle, he was not able to screw it off normally and spent much of his efforts chipping it off. Although it took a little bit of time, he managed to get the plastic piece off and apply the new metal housing. He was considerate of me and show the old part and videos of the newly installed piece. He was transparent throughout the process which I appreciate him for going above and beyond. Since this labor was more strenuous, his labor was $52. His customer service was amazing and he shows a lot of passion and knowledge in his craft. If anyone needs any auto related issues taken care of, I highly recommend Aldo’s.

Post Christmas, almost no shops were open. Had a sudden issue with my car and was heading a weird vibration and noise. Aldo was super helpful, he quickly diagnosed the issue with a simple drive and narrowed it down to the tires. Turns out all the tires were out of pressure and one had a huge nail on it, Aldo fixed the puncture in about 15 mins and got me set to drive home safely. Prices are very fair and I respect the work done!

This was probably the MOST affordable and quality work I have had in YEARS. Aldo took his time to thoroughly check and replace my brakes. The care he put into greasing and torquing the systems was very professional and so appreciated. Many mechanics rush through the process and skip important steps, Aldo was very meticulous. Great job !!
