I took my 2021 Toyota Corolla in a few weeks ago to have my breaks repaired and after a dealership tried to get me for everything I was worth and they took my car fixed it and gave me a very fair price any future issues I’m coming here the employees were amazing they did amazing work on my car and had me out of there in a couple of hours

Amazing experience! They took my daughter’s car on a Sunday and returned it with a repair by Monday morning so she could drive back to college. The owner personally helped us and was fair and straightforward. The prices were very very fair. He treated my daughter with respect. As a local small business owner myself, I highly recommend this Waterford business!

GREAT PLACE TO GET AUTO REPAIRS DONE! I recently took my dodge ram 1500 to get my heater fixed because I had no heat and it’s getting cold. Well at first it was going to be an $800 repair but the owner abdul personally checked for other parts for it could be a cheaper repair. He found that my actuator wasn’t working and that it was the problem that my heater wasn’t working and saved me $500 😊 GREAT PLACE!! I would DEFINITELY be coming back for future repairs and it’s close to home like 6 minutes away

I will always go to Abdul. He treats every customer with respect, he doesn't push any unnecessary repairs, and he always brings a fair price. He treats me like family and has gone above and beyond to get me back on the road on a budget I can afford. Abdul is a good mechanic and an honest man. Garbage facility. Garbage workers. They are kings of claiming bad head gasket when they never touch them. And on top of that they put car back together WRONG and steal money from people making payments... this placed will be hearing back from us

Had a tranmission line leak. Alaw explained all the cost and dealer parts. Took pictures of repair. Honest, fair, open Sundays, return calls, give estimate up front, quick service within reason. Highly recommend this service center. They will have all my auto service from now on.

My check engine light was blinking(which is NEVER a good thing) and I had just recently moved into the area, so I looked for a close auto shop with really good reviews. I selected Alaw Auto Repair, and was not disappointed. The staff was amazing...and, the owner(Abdul) explained everything that he was going to check before doing any repairs. He went above and beyond more than ANY auto shop that I ever visited. Integrity and honesty is what that auto shop exhibited to me. I will refer ALL to this location, and I will return again for car preventive maintenance in the future. Sincerely, Scott. PS. I had an issue with my car not starting. So, I had it towed to Alaw. Dominic was awesome. He took my car in right away and looked over every detail of why my car was not starting. He found that my starter wasn't working properly. He ordered the part and had it delivered as soon as possible. Dominic got me on a road exactly when he said it was going to be completed. Dominic went above and beyond to fix my issue and got me on the road as soon as possible. The customer service person Jill was awesome too. She was extremely friendly, and was also excited to see me back on the road again. If you don't give this place a try, you will be missing out on some great customer service. They have extremely fair prices, and will treat you like family.

Worst place to ever to take your vehicle. They scammed my daughter (18 years old) out of $3000, did none of the work they said they did and put something in the system that corroded and made other problems. So far she has had to put in another $2800 and still has to take it back for more work to be done. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!! Edit: We were also told the head gasket (Invoice # 1475) was replaced, which was not true. Our normal mechanic said there was no way that was done. Also, the turbo was plugged into the o2 sensor and vice versa. The vehicle never stopped overheating even after you supposedly "fixed the issue". When she brought it back, you said it was the spark plugs and that is why you "changed" them for free. Also, the box for said spark plugs were left under the hood of her car. She was told the car was misfiring for months because of the way the car was "fixed". It was very nice to offer her a payment plan, however she spent an awful lot of money and her car was never truly fixed. When she made her final payment and asked for her title back, you said she had not paid the full amount and gave the title to her and told her to "just take it". Not sure how you didn't keep track of the payments as we did.

I took my car there he had it.for a week. Finally told me it needed new struts, which I already replaced. He told me they are the wrong ones. Are you kidding me. I found the problem myself the rear motor mount is bad. He charged me $150.00 to tell me I had the wrong struts in my car. Never again would I take a go.cart to this place. Ripped me off instead of just saying " I could not find your issue" I would have at least respected that answer!!!

If I could give zero stars, I would. I took my vehicle to ALaw on Aug 31, 2023 for a sensor that was randomly going off. Abdul told me I had blown head gaskets (only car issue was this random sensor going on and then immediately shutting off.) He did the repair on the engine, claiming he took the engine apart. He also called later to say I needed a new radiator and axle. I agreed to those repairs. I was never shown the removed parts. After getting my car back and paying over $4200, I drove the car less than 50 miles before the engine blew out. The car was not drivable at all. I called him, and he first said he drove the car for two hours (a lie, according to car mileage), then that he let it idle for two hours, then he said for three hours, then he said for eight hours. Clearly lying, and I wasn’t going to trust him with my car again. Long story short, I towed it to a dealership and had to get the engine replaced (at a cost of over $12,000). According to them, “ Cause of engine failure is improper previous repair” “…Upon tear down and inspection of the engine, found the cause of engine failure being the right side intake camshaft phaser being installed improperly, causing the camshaft sprocket portion of the phaser to break off, which in turn allowed the camshaft to turn 180 degrees, all of which resulted in the rear intake valves contacting the pistons. Also found four out of six cylinders to be scored. Found further improper repair aspects being: water used instead of coolant, the rear main seal physically damaged where it meets the oil pan, large amount of metal in the oil pan, half of the camshaft caps were installed backwards, both right side oil control valves not torqued to specification, the hydraulic timing chain tensioner filled with sealant from excessive amounts of RTV used restricting it from compressing fully, and the crankshaft pulley bolt not tightened at all (hand tight). All of which requiring engine replacement. Replaced the engine, installed new spark plugs, replaced every gasket, filled all fluids.” All in all this has cost me almost $18,000 in repairs, car rental, and lost wages. ALaw refuses to reimburse, offering only a small fraction of the costs. There are multiple people with similar experiences, and multiple complaints filed with the state attorney general. *editing to respond* As stated above, when my engine fell apart while driving, I called you and you lied to me several times within a couple of minutes. You insisted on the phone at that time that there was nothing wrong with your repairs. I told you I didn’t trust you to tell me the truth, since you had already been dishonest (my vehicle did not need the repairs you did to begin with, it showed no symptoms at all.) There was no way you were going to be honest about your culpability and honor that warranty. The letter I got from the state says you were issued several citations as a result of their investigation. The rest we will handle in court.

Came in asked specifically for my inner tie rod changed, takes my car. Tried to tell me 5 hours of labor to change a tie rod that is listed as .5 hours of labor but he is going to do me a favor and not charge me 2 hours of labor to remove the outer tie rod. Then charges me a 70 dollar inspection fee to tell me i need the part changed i came in asking to have replaced.

Honest, fast, and amazing at communicating! I have a 27 year old truck and have been using the same mechanic for 10 years. I had to make a switch due to a move and I couldn't be happier. It's hard to find a good, honest car repair people! These guys are AMAZING!

My daughter just moved to Waterford less than a month ago. She is 2 hours from home. Her car broke down and it was extremely stressful not being there to help. We had her car towed here. Not only did they fix it on a SUNDAY but the bill was also almost 150 LESS than the quote because it didn't take as long to fix as estimated. He treated us like family. This auto repair place is a hidden gem in Waterford. Located behind the Arby's on highland road this family-owned business will bend over backwards to take care of their customers. I needed a tire repair to continue working and they were able to fix it almost immediately despite having other business to also take care of. They got me back on the road and delivering pizzas again with zero hassle and a great attitude. I would recommend highly.

There was some issues with parts bought for my brake job and Alaw made sure to take care of me, in a timely fashion too. Great prices, great service, great people!
