A friend of mine has been going to AHG since 1998 and referred me to have them fix a camera sensor on my car. They were very friendly, set an appointment and unfortunately they were unable to work on it because of my make and model. They referred me to another auto shop that was able to and surprisingly didn’t charge me for their time. I highly recommend Alamo Heights Garage and let Ann, Matt and Greg take care of you. 🙏

Synthetic oil change plus a complete inspection of brakes, brake fluid, transmission fluid, washer fluid, shocks/struts, air filters, CV joint covers, and probably more I'm forgetting...all for the price of an oil change at the quick change joints.

The experience was a repeat of the others I've had here. I arrived a few minutes before my appointment time, my car was returned a few minutes before it was supposed to be ready. Friendly service, very clean office and shops.

I had a mysterious problem regarding the engine on my 2000 Nissan Frontier with sudden racing (high tachometer readings) occurring at random and terrible starts after a full stop at intersections. The racing engine did not link to the transmission, thankfully, but it was problematic. Gary put the diagnostic scan tool connected and test drove the truck with me in the passenger seat. They were able to determine the problem as a faulty Throttle Position Sensor. They replaced the sensor, made adjustments, and cleared the scan tool codes in a reasonable time. It's like driving a new truck now. The repair is fantastic. I trust both my vehicles to Alamo Heights Garage and appreciate that they are not overcharging for repairs.

Great service! Explained exactly what needed to be done and how much it would be. Didn’t try to upsell me on anything or recommend anything that wasn’t necessary. Work done was completed in the time stated. Very professional. Will be back again if I’m in need of any future repairs. 🙂
