I had an emergency situation having lost 4 of 6 lug nuts on my Toyota Tundra with the last 2 barely hanging on. Luckily, I landed a block from Affordable Tire. They came out, assessed the situation, limped my truck into their shop and handled the situation as soon as the first bay opened up. They only charged me for the parts and handled the labor without compensation. They earned all my future business.

Dropped my vehicle off at 8 am, and was able to pick it up just after 12. Needed new breaks, and they informed me, with pictures, I could hold off on front breaks and just do the rear if I wanted too. Felt they were being honest and helpful.

I had a flat and as someone with low income who needed a cheap fix fast (as I was mid-process of moving), G offered to work on it right away, got it done in maybe 30 minutes. and provided excellent and friendly customer service. The best car service I have ever received as I have truly had many poor experiences. They truly live up to the Affordable Tires name and saved me over $100!

Needed to get new tires for a trip through Canada to Alaska last minute and Affordable Tire and Brake were able to order, receive, and install the new tires within 3 days of calling. They were booked up but were able to cram me in when they first opened thanks to Gene V. Jumping in to help!

Been going here for years and will continue as long as they’re open! Friendly staff, quality work and I appreciate that they go into detail about all the work they’re doing. The strive to ensure customers have a great experience and succeed. Their only con is they might be too popular as sometimes there’s a bit of a wait for work to get done but typically it’s extremely quick and very affordable. Glad we found this place

Another season, another seasonal change to my tires. I now feel much more secure knowing that I've got my great Continental Viking Contact 7 tires that the shop turned me on to. I appreciated that this morning I stopped in with no appointment and they were able to do such a quick turnaround on the tire swap and tire balance.

Hands-down the best mechanic in PDX. This team is kind, efficient, knowledgable, fast and talented. Heather, the manager, has a great ability to problem-solve and come up with creative solutions when needed. She gives great advice when considering repair options. When it came time to purchase a new vehicle, Heather helped immensely in my decision making. Kayla is friendly and kind and always has a smile when you come to pick up your vehicle. I started going to Affordable for repairs more than a decade ago when an employee at AAA recommended them to me. I'm really glad I heeded the advice and found a mechanic I can trust and appreciate with all of my auto needs.

I brought a set of my winter wheels and tires to get mounted. They were strongly against mounting them over a gut feeling that the clearances were not there on my vehicle. Took it to another shop for a test fit and they fit fine.

I have used Affordable Tire for all my tire needs for decades. They take great, personal care of me, including swapping my tires seasonally. Most recently, I noticed that my daughter‘s car had a flat tire, and she was away. I took the tire to another nearby vendor who pronounced the tire unusable and was unable to provide a match. The folks at Affordable found a match immediately and had the tire mounted and ready when my daughter returned from her trip.

If I could give 10 stars, I would! Parts for my old car can be rare and hard to find. Chris went out of his way to find them, and provided above and beyond service. They were kind, patient, flexible, knowledgable, and professional. I am a woman and am not mechanically inclined. This is the first shop I've ever been to where I wasn't condescended to at all for my lack of car knowledge. My search for a good shop is finally over, and some faith in humanity has been restored. I'll be coming back for all my future car repair needs. Thank you guys!!

I’ve been using Affordable Tires for approximately 7 years and highly recommend them. I have tire shops closer to my neighborhood BUT the customer service and honest advice I’m given makes it more than worth going there. Plus it’s more than just tires. They have changed my car’s oil, put on new brakes and overall maintenance of my car. They have my car ready at or before the time I’ve requested. As long as I drive they will be seeing me every 6 months!
