Went on a Thursday morning without an appointment. The prices were good and the guy there talked me through everything he was going to do to my car. A previous shop I went to messed up my tire alignment and they fixed it. Overall, good price and friendly informative service. Will definitely be coming back!!!

My daughter was in an accident in Tucson (she lives in Phoenix) we had her diesel truck towed there and Oscar checked it out for her making sure she could drive it back to Phoenix. They were super nice and did a great job checking her truck out. Very professional. I was in Georgia when it happened. I'm so grateful they took care of her and the truck and got her in her way safely home!!! Thank you so much!

They were all really kind and informative. They even suggested that I bring my Ford Focus to a Ford dealership and check if I had a warranty (which I did). I really appreciated everything they told me and they gave me an estimate/diagnosis even when I found the warranty. I recommend going here if you are not sure what is wrong with your car. They are respectful and cool.

I drove here from Phoenix to Tucson and saw my traction lights were on, and then my brake lights would not go off. When I shut my car off I called Saturday morning spoke directly to Oscar (the owner) who told me to bring it in, and he solved the problem and sent me on my way at a very reasonable price. I recommend these guys …they are honest, friendly, and willing to help. Wish they were in Phoenix! Thank you Oscar❤️

Oscar at Advantage Auto Repair is a knowledgeable and trustworthy mechanic. He has serviced my cars for the last 5 years, and has never taken advantage of me or pressured me into doing anything that wasn’t necessary. For example, I went in once and thought that my alternator was shot—he could have easily said “yes, you need a new one” and charged me a huge sum, but being the honest guy he is, he figured out that it was that the battery terminal connection had rusted, which was a much cheaper fix. He is very generous with his time, and helped me look at several used cars when I was in the market, and didn’t even charge me for some of the inspections, since he knew I was going to do several thousand dollars of repairs with him in the near future. His repairs are also done very quickly and often he can fix a problem in just a couple of hours. Oscar is kind, generous, prompt, and knowledgeable, and is—in my estimation—the best auto mechanic in Tucson.

Unfortunately I had to put down one star. I took it for repair and they told me several parts that I would need, but they won’t be ready for a month due to back order parts. It took me almost 3 months of wait and then when my car stopped working. They were able to fix it and some other parts. When asking about the back order parts, they kept saying they haven’t arrived and it has been almost 3 months. So when they said I could go ahead and drive out of state and come back for the repair. I have decided not to except for having other car shop fix it for me in other state. To my surprise they told me that the parts the Advantage auto shop used weren’t completed when they told me they did. I felt betrayed and what’s else is that one of their mechanics was flirting with me and even tried to hug me while I was driving to show him the problems I have detected. Not worth your time going to that shop.
