What a great experience! I brought in an older car that had been previously diagnosed with a bad ABS module and some other problems by another reputable repair shop, but because this could potentially make the old girl a lost cause, I chose Adkins for a 2nd opinion. They confirmed the original diagnosis and gave me a fair estimate. When I told the owner I was thinking about trading it in, he was quick to advise me to skip the repair because it would not pay me back in a trade. He even told me I should call back when I have new car options to get his opinion. In the end I paid a small fee for the diagnosis, saved myself a lot of money, and found a great shop for next time!

400 for brakes on an old Honda? Took it in, nothing wrong, but we knew brakes were do and had concerns on a wheel bearing. Now the brakes grind when I touch them. THEY DID NOT DO THIS UNTIL THEY "WORKED" ON IT. Then they give my father in law more run around. Shame on you. I am at the dealers now, and I just showed them the bill for brake drums,but no brakes?! Because they refused to do the brakes unless he did them all the way around the car. But their good to drive now bringing like they are. Avoid. These . Clowns .

After purchasing tires from another company we were told about Adkins for an alignment. This was the best recommendation for us and a God send. My vehicle was in need of much service and the owner informed us about it. He refused to take money for an alignment when he knew the car wasn’t safe to drive. Robert( the owner) sat down with us and gave us a plan of action that we could afford at that time. This family operation is definitely our choice for our automotive needs. JC and Christina were very supportive to us during the service of our car. We were given rides back home and the next day they came and got us. I recommend you give them a try and see for yourself. Wow!!! What an awesome place. Everyone working there is top notch. They put a new alternator in my car on Tuesday afternoon but unfortunately the alternator failed on Thursday night. Not their fault by any means. It was an unforseen product failure.I called Robert on Friday morning to tell him what happened. He immediately made an opening for me to bring it right in to fix it. Robert apologize several times and felt worse about the situation than I did. A couple of hours later I was on my way without paying a dime. Definitely a great place to deal with. They stand behind their work. My new shop from now on.

Rude. Not professional at all. Nice looking shop! Seem like good people! Gave them a second shot and then they wanted to charge 3 times what they had orginally quoted us for a simple job. They had all the information ahead of time that the vehicle was a "Honda Civic." If Civics are so difficult to work on as stated when raising the price you would think they would have known that when they first quoted us! ....disappointed a second time. Won't go back!

Awesome last minute service for a dead battery. Came out to jump start it and got it back to their shop at the end of the workday. Helped us out and pricing was reasonable for the service.

I had the pleasure of meeting two great workers today Cruz and Wesley who helped me with a piece that was hanging under my car the shop was closed and I saw they were working on a car pulled in just to see if they could help they did more than help they put me at ease and explain to me what was need to fix the problem! They didn’t have to help me especially with the shop being closed but they did thank you both!

I had a flat tire and AAA recommended and towed me to Adkins Automotive. Unfortunately, their machine cannot handle Tesla tires/wheels. But that didn't stop Robert from helping me out! He coordinated with another local shop and got me back on the road the next day. He could have just said "not my problem, have AAA tow to another shop", but no, he worked the problem and took care of me. Now THAT is the type of shop and owner I want to do business with! I will be bringing my wife and daughter's cars here for service in the future. All of that said, if you have a Tesla, don't bring it here but keep your fingers crossed that they add Tesla service capabilities in the future. I'd bring it back to Adkins in a heartbeat. :)

I took my truck in on Friday evening to get a starter put on. Come to find out I also needed an alternator and a serpentine belt .Good thing all was replaced.The truck was ready to drive again on Monday. Fast and friendly service.

Phenomenal service! These guys found and fixed my A/C issue in a couple of hours, whereas a previous shop couldn’t find the issue even after having the car for 4 days. Definitely recommend and will use them again in the future.

Adkins Auto is old school professional from the owner to all the staff. Have brought in my 1996 Ford Bronco XLT 351W V8 in many times. They go above and beyond any other place in Winter Haven. Before you go to the box store mechanic try them first.

Adkins recently fixed an ongoing problem with my truck that Ive been dealing with for over a year. Adkins service techs think outside the box and fixed the issue....whereas the othet shops were mainly concerned about getting the money and not really concerned about finding the real problem. Didn’t have working A/C in my car for a little over 2yrs. Would only blow semi-cold only when the car was moving. At a dead stop, A/C would blow HOT 🥵 Found Adkins thru the guys putting new tires on my car. So thankful to them!!!
