Vern always is straight with you. In my experience he only does repairs that are necessary and won't try to sell you anything else. He's a trustworthy guy, and that's t rare in the repair world.

Vern is terrific - all around nice guy who knows his stuff and won't mess around with you. Saved me over $500 from another shop's quote, and the quality of work is excellent. Even cleaned up my engine bay for me. Highly recommended!

Vern actively listened to my concerns and was able to diagnose the problems very quickly. He kept me up to date on the repairs and the price was very affordable compared to other places. He also was able to get everything done in one day. He is a very fair and kind mechanic and will be recommending him to everyone.

Acutek is the best! Vern really knows what he's doing. Whether it's new tires, major repairs, or regular service I have taken all of my vehicles here since 2009. He has even done a road side emergency stop for me, helped with a couple issues on one of my Peterbilt semi's, and has even helped me with trailer tire and electrical issues on my boat trailer. Thanks Vern! Thanks for always being flexible and for being willing to add your expertise to whatever project I bring you.

Vern was so friendly and helpful! I called in a pinch while I was traveling through Lincoln, and he took care of my vehicle quickly so I could be on my way. The service was very reasonably priced, and he made the process so easy! I don't live in Lincoln, but if I did, I would be switching my car care to Acutely Auto Repair!

We were in a bind. We took our car to Brakes Plus due to it overheating. To make a long story short, we were told we had a cracked head or block and needed a rebuilt $5,000 engine. I believed what they told me and came very close to having them replace our engine. However, I decided we needed a second opinion and my wife's coworker suggested Vern at Acutek. We took the car there and Vern FIXED our car with a new thermostat. We didn't need a new engine! So I learned three lessons, 1) NEVER go back to Brakes Plus, 2) Always get a second opinion on major repairs and, 3) take all my vehicle repairs to Vern at Acutek.

As a female it’s so hard to trust mechanics because they always take advantage of you. But not Vern I found Acutek over a year ago, Vern as saved me so much money and has always been true to his word. I refuse to go anywhere else to get my car fixed now. If he sees something wrong with your car he lets you know price and to see if you want him to fix it along with what you brought your car in for. He is so polite, friendly, and all around an amazing person! Thank you for taking care of my mom and I!!

Vern took great care of my car!! Had it towed there on a Fri, and he had me out on Tue!!He did the research to find the real issue. The price was way lower than other places would have been. Will be going back

Best mechanic ever! Our car broke down in the middle of a road trip west to east and we were blessed enough to break down on the doorstep of Vern Acutek, polite, fast and affordable. He was very clear about what was broken and what wasn't and gave us options about how to fix depending on our budget. Kinda sad I'm not from the area and won't have someone so professional taking care of our car anymore.

Called them 5 times in 2 days thursday& friday ,left messages and never got a returned call, so im having my porsche towed to porsche of omaha , which was professional and returned my calls ! Snooze and you loose! About $3000ps. I have never talked to you on the phone!

There are no words to describe how much I appreciate Vern and enjoy taking my vehicles to Acutek. Vern is professional, polite, and just an all-around wonderful human being. No hidden fees, the work that gets done is top notch, and every time I go to pay a bill, I'm always amazed at how much less Vern charges than literally every other auto repair/mechanic shop I've visited. As long as I'm in Lincoln, Vern and Acutek will always be my go-to. 11/10 cannot recommend enough!

Vern is awesome! I sincerely love taking both my wife's car and my car there. Vern does a fantastic job, he is incredibly friendly, generous, and is great at getting you in to get your car worked on. The shop is welcoming and Vern is always there to answer your questions or schedule you in. His attention to detail is great and he is there to make sure your car is repaired safe and maintained. The prices are great and if you want someone to trust, trust Acutek. My wife and I have been going here for years now and we are very happy with the pricing, repairs, and consistency of good service. I'm glad he's our family mechanic.
