An honest mechanic shop, with great staff, and customer service. I had my Subaru OEM hitch installed. Additionally, I requested some custom modifications to my Car-Toys installed camera system. I was given a very reasonable estimate, and the job was completed as planned.

This place is great. The staff is knowledgeable and excellent at communication. The prices are more than fair and they are able to find affordable parts if you are on a budget. The only downside is they are very popular - schedule an appointment before you go in. If you have a Toyota or Honda, you'd be a fool not to go here. This is the only mechanic I will ever go to in town.

Preface: I have a 97 Subaru legacy outback. This is one of the years that have bad head gaskets that blow around 200k miles. Mine did and I replaced the whole motor from a company that specializes in rebuilt Subaru motors. I was trying to give the Subaru a little tune up and changed the injectors, the car ran rough with the new ones, so I changed the injectors back to the original ones. The car still ran rough. I decided to try Accurate japanese because of the reviews. I had it towed down there and told them what I did with the injectors and the car was running rough. And left the new injectors in the passenger seat. Got a call later and explained the same thing to another guy at the shop. I received a call when it was done and they said there was a hose that came off the map sensor and it's running fine. He then tells me that they drove it around town for awhile and these cars have a problem with blowing a head gasket. No mention of the injectors. I picked it up and the new injectors were still in the passenger seat. I drove it out to powers and back about 3 times. The last time I drove out there the gas smell in my car was overwhelming. The next day I popped the hood started it up and looked around. One injector was wet and there was a puddle of gas underneath it. They found the issue that caused the rough running, then decided to drive it around to see if they could blow the head gasket. They never looked at the injectors even after being told twice, and driving around with a new set of injectors in the passenger seat.

Haven’t even gotten the services done yet but love the customer service! Daniel was so nice and thorough about what kind of preventative maintenance my husband and I needed for our vehicles and he was very quick to give us accurate price ranges.

Absolutely phenomenal experiences here thus far. I’ve taken my Honda and Mazda here for both scheduled services and vehicle issues and the personability, honesty, and skills of the mechanics are top notch. They charge extremely reasonable prices and they refused to accept payment when I brought my vehicle in for an issue that turned out to be user error. I would absolutely recommend this shop especially if you own a Japanese brand car.

I wish I can give this company less than one star, how about goose eggs!!! Zero! Sell me a car in July, car dead today. This company in it's advertisements of each vehicle for sale, states that they go through these vehicles to sell a car that is reliable and trouble free, a person can thesesee these postings of vehicles for sale on Craigslist. Obviously this was not the case on the car that I bought. Blown head gasket and I take of a 93 year old mother. I am very unhappy that I did business with this company that processes of such professional, and so call honesty!! Not so and Bad Buisness!!! I know people don't care and talk is cheap, but consider my complaint. I am not saying this to be a bad person, but this "company," should be left alone. They are not to be trusted!

Moved down the street 2 years ago. As an older Subaru owner it was very convenient there was a shop so close. They’ve always taken me in with very short or no notice at all. They can always assess what’s wrong with my car just from my description and can typically get it fixed within the day. I highly recommend.

Do not go here. I ignored the reviews about repairs failing in record time. I got my water pump replaced here 1-2 years back and now my car is visibly leaking oil from the water pump, puddles wherever I park. The different mechanic I took it to had to pick their jaw of the floor when I told them how recently it was worked on. They also said the repair was so bad they don't feel comfortable quoting anything less than a full replacement and repair, because they don't trust the water pump from Accurate Japanese Repair. I've put maybe 10k miles on the thing, but I'm out another few grand. I live out of state now (towed this vehicle on a fully lifted trailer) but even if I was in state, I wouldn't come back to them for a warranty. Oh they also messed up some wiring and now my speaker squeal whenever I adjust the mirrors, but that's minor compared to the above crap.

I have been going to Accurate for many years. They have always done a great job on my car! My check engine light was on today and they got me in right away and informed me that it was a warranty extension for my Subaru and did not charge me anything. They gave me a print out to bring to the dealer and offered to talk to them if something went awry. I have called them when I have been out of town about issues and they have always been more than helpful and accommodating!

They have always been honest, reliable and reasonable. They go above and beyond to take care of customers, focus on safety first and never try to upsell customers.

I wouldn't trust them I think they are lazy and could of caused serious damage. got my oil changed and they didn't tighten the filter all the way and got home and leaked a good amount of oil so we tightened it up and called them back and brought it back in a few days later for them to just tell me it wasn't loose and because I have (hundreds) of zip ties it was hard to reach (i had 2 zip ties) I feel like it would of been nice if they replaced the filter and changed my oil but all they did was check my oil levels and tell me they got a little oil on the splash pan but it didn't leak any out BS we got under and tightened it because i was watching it drip from under the oil filter because the filter itself was screwed on like one turn. another issue is the first day I dropped my car off at 7:30 to then pick it up about when they were going to close I think just for an oil change and a listen to my engine that's a long time for something they didn't even do right ps he told me the earlier i come in the farthest ill be up in line so we got there when it opened then the second time we brought it in around 1 then later around 4:45 I called them and they said its been done so I don't know when it got done but they should of called me. here are the photos of when we got under my car and realized the filter was barely on

I came here in tears after I was told by a different shop that my car needed $5k+ worth of repairs to be safe to drive. Daniel and the team at Accurate Japanese Repair took great care of me. They gave me an honest quote of what I needed and it ended up only being less than $1,200 to get my vehicle to a safe driving condition. As a young woman it is easy to be taken advantage of. AJR gets business by being ethical and upfront instead of trying to screw you over. I have sent multiple friends here for repairs/quotes and their experience was the same. So grateful I found this shop!

The only place I take my car. As a younger female, I never feel taken advantage of or pushed to spend money on unnecessary work. Everything they suggest to do on your car is for a good reason and they are so kind and understanding. I recommend this place to everyone that asks.

Love them here. We bring two old Japanese manufactured cars to them, 2007 Subaru Outback and 2008 Toyota Highlander. They know how to diagnose, troubleshoot, and understand the nuances of these vehicles.

Come here if you want a business owner that doesn't hold himself or his mechanics accountable when they do something wrong. They gave me back a vehicle that was draining gasoline from the tank and I didn't realize until o got home and saw 2 gallons puddled in my driveway. The vehicle was given to me unsafe and they would not pay for the tow back to the shop. I spoke with the owner and he hung up on me after I requested he reimburse me for the tow. He then complained about the cost that the warranty covered for the labor and the faulty part. If you can't take care of a long term customer who has been coming to your shop for over 4 years you shouldn't own a business. Its great when things work out but the moment something goes wrong you'll still be held liable for the cost. BEWARE.

Daniel and the others are so good. They are honest, understanding, and quick. My husband is a retired diesel and engine mechanic. Although he still has computer programs and so many tools, he doesn't have current ones for our newer Outback. They kept us informed and did a quick job of building and installing a new engine. We can't recommend these guys enough. Thanks!

These guys did a great job on my new to me Toyota Sienna. I had just recently bought it and the transmission went out. I did some research on shops and loved the reviews for Accurate Japanese repair. They are super responsive and knowledgeable. They took my van in on short notice and got it fixed up right away as soon as the new transmission came in. Paul and the rest of the team went WAY above and beyond. I definitely recommend them and will be having them work on my cars from here on out. Thanks guys
