Showed up during business hours and had to wait for 30 minutes with another customer because the doors were all shut and locked up. Dropped off a radiator for inspection/repair. Received a quote in a timely manner for replacement as he found the radiator was beyond repair. We pre-paid the invoice in full instead of just the deposit he was asking for. He called to say repair was done for my truck radiator but I explained I was waiting on a re-core fore my radiator off of a piece of farm equipment. Not surprising since his records consisted of a piece of scratch paper with names and phone numbers written hap-hazard all over it. Luckily I didn't go pick up someone else's radiator. When we finally picked up our radiator they tried to give us our invoice again, which we had already paid in full. When my accounting department sent them a W-9 form they said they would send it over...on multiple occasion. I called them, my secretary called, and our accounting department called for over 2 months with the same answer that they would get it sent over until finally John spoke to our accounting department and threatened to call his lawyer if we kept calling them. Very unprofessional, very unorganized, and hopefully the radiator he re-cored for us doesn't have any issues because I will not be going back there for warranty work.

The owner of Ability Radiator John Reemts is a scam artist. We have hired John Reemts last year to work on our Houseboat. Which included solar insulation, including Betty's, Ac and DC panel, as well ceiling lights and roof coating. The total amounts of work was contracted for was over 25k . The work per agreement was supposed to be Done in May of this year. Nothing has been Done. Buyers be aware.

This compony is a Froud. John Reemts is a scammer and a CON ARTIST. Ability Radiators -John Reemts, was hired to do a remodeling job on our house boat witch included entire solar panel system installation-roof coating-battery -box-storage compartment. Ability radiator-John Reemts took a deposit and progress payments, and did not do any work. Since we don't live in Oroville all communication were through the phone. Every time i spoke to John the project was moving forward. little did i know nothing was getting done. After numerus attempts to retrieve my money John Reemts has stopped all communications to resolve this issue. Please be aware that this compony is a Froud and legal actions are in progress.

Brought my Chevy truck in for a new radiator. I requested all coolant hoses be replaced, a new serpentine belt, and a brake check. Victor rebuilt my radiator, and did a fine job. He replaced only the main hoses. The heater hoses were left undone. He failed to replace the serpentine belt and check the brakes. I paid the bill and drove home. The temperature was 225 degrees. I replaced the fan clutch, but that did not help. I brought the truck back and after 4-5 day wait I got the truck back with a new thermostat. All is well...until today. I checked the coolant level and found the green coolant brown. Victor failed to properly flush the system.

CURRENT UPDATE: The radiator is leaking from the same spot it leaked from before I took it here. The repair has not lasted. I am obviously disappointed in my service. I called and they said they would take care of it but it remains to be seen how a new repair would be better this time. About 6 months ago I needed to repair a leak in my radiator, so I took it to Ability Radiator by recommendation of a friend. The process was a bit slow because cores for this type of vehicle (1985 Toyota Van) are more difficult to source, as well as some family problems on the owner's end. I was patient, and they were thankfully very communicative, but overall it took about 4-5 weeks from dropoff to pickup for the radiator to be re-cored. I reinstalled the part and it's been about 6 months with my repaired radiator. We've had no problems at all after several thousand miles and I'm thankful for my experience with Ability. I would recommend them for your radiator business, they are friendly, professional and accommodating.

Had an engine overeating issue for a 2017 Hyundai Elantra. Diagnosis was quick and painless with a clear plan and estimate to fix. No games, no up selling, was done sooner than estimated for a little less than was quoted. Wish every repair transaction was as quick and professionally handled as these folks did it.

I had an oil leak in my honda and when i took it there i was told that it needed a new valve cover gasket, so i went ahead and had it done. The next day it was a qt. low on oil, so i took it back for them to tell me, they just forgot to fill up the oil . Not even a month later, it was a qt. low again, so i took it back and was told it was leaking around the cam. At that point, i was a bit skeptical and took it to a very highly recommended shop. I was told that, a leak around the cam can not even be seen without removing the valve cover, which is where Ability had just replaced meaning, they failed to notice that it was leaking around the cam among all the other seals in that same area. Not only that, but i had an oil change at Ability only about 700 miles prior to taking my car to the new place and the oil was black looking as though it was never changed at all. Ended up having to redo the valve cover gasket and fix all the seals wasting more time and money. Ability has now lost a very loyal customer.

So thankful for John! Our radiator cracked a leak and we started overheating day before Christmas. So glad he answered the phone right before close time and was very accommodating. We needed to be back on the road ASAP as we had work on that Fri. He kept in contact with us and fixed it right away. Thank you, John. Thank you for treating us with exceptional customer service. Took our old Ford Van to John for repair. It had a bad heater core and several vacuum leaks that kept it from passing smog. He got it fixed up and passing smog! Price was right and delivery... right on time. I will be back John! Thanks for taking care of us!
