Transmission fluid change done in a timely manner, give great information of transmission care. They also rebuild and swap transmissions as well. Fyrestone wasn’t willing to change my fluid as they said my crown Vic had too many miles. (144k miles) Ammco changed it with no issues.

Oh lordy ,wow where can I start, this business is the best of the best hands down. I live in Myrtle Beach and just couldn't get to Charleston where my daughters car was, I had tow my car to another business in the area that tried to take advantage of me not being there , and it was obvious. Something told me to find another business I from AAMCO Transmission in Summerville, I call and spoke Natalie, just by the way she spoke over the phone I knew I hit the jackpot. I immediately told her I wanted shop to work on my vehicle, all I needed to do is get it towed from that other business that wasn't right. I will end at this, Natalie save me over $2800 on a $4100 quote from that other business for a full Transmission job that I didn't even need. I really appreciate the honesty because she could have easily charge me for something I really didn't need at the time, Thanks Natalie and your crew AT AAMCO of Summerville, Best of Luck. I must say, when I first brought my 2012 Cadillac SRX to AAMCO. I thought just go ahead and purchase a new vehicle. From the moment I first spoke with Natalie over the phone she gave me some hope my baby (car) will be able to get repaired. Natalie impressed me with her being so knowledgeable about my current situation and help me to understand what's going on with my vehicle as well as keeping me informed on the progress they were making. Overall, AAMCO at the Summerville locations definitely have me as a returning customer in the future!!!

My transmission went out in my dodge ram 2500. This shop was recommended on the In network from car shield. And I’ll say this. They were awesome. Natalie kept up to date on everything. They made sure I didn’t have to hassle with the warranty company. And got my truck done in two weeks. Would recommend everyone to do business here for all your transmission needs.

Worst auto shop I’ve ever been too, first I came in originally to get brake fluid filled and my brakes bled. I brought my own brake fluid and got charge for it not only that but they said I needed two parts to fix a leak they wanted me to pay 2100 even when the parts were just $500 together. I will never go back nor give anyone a recommendation here.

I just got to Charleston from serving in the Air Force in Germany for 3 years. I bought a truck and within a few thousand miles it threw codes for trans temp and trans control module. I didn’t know the area very well so I was just going off of reviews. I found AAMCO and gave them a call. The guy told me that he could get me in the following Monday(it’s Tuesday). It could have been worse but I don’t have another vehicle so the longer it takes to fix the more I have to pay the rental company. I went ahead and dropped it off as to avoid driving more than needed on faulty trans codes. I met Natalie and right away I could tell I was in good hands. Pro military, very job knowledgeable and super nice. She said that she was optimistic about diagnosing it within 24 hours!! This was great news to me and sure enough she had the diagnosis ready for me. I ended up doing it and they got it done the very next day!! Mind you this is before my appointment! Amazing customer service and communication. Thank you Natalie!

Brought my truck in for transmission fluid/filter change. They quoted me a fair price and offered a veteran's discount. After dropping the pan they texted a photo of its condition. They called around 4 hours later to let me know it was done. The staff was very pleasant and professional. I would definitely go there again if I need service.

I wanted transmission looked at because I have high mileage and I wanted to make sure everything was ok. Preventative maintenance I guess. I was expecting them to come back and say I needed this or that done but they didn’t. My transmission was fine. When I dropped off the car, I even told them I was going to be ok to get whatever it was fixed or replaced if they found something. They could have taken advantage of that but they did not. Natalie and Cliff were so nice (and I am sure the rest of their team are too) so happy I went here. Aamco is lucky to have them. Deeply appreciate the wonderful service.
