Aamco did it again, Took my truck in to get my rotors and brakes replaced and once again everything is driving perfectly smooth. Everyone there is super nice and definitely gives you the best quality service. Thanks again guys.

As a former master technician with years in the automotive industry, I'm always careful about where I take my vehicles for service. I recently brought my Diesel truck to AAMCO to have them diagnose a rear-end noise, I couldn't be more impressed. The team was fantastic – very professional, knowledgeable, and transparent throughout the entire process. If you haven't been to Aamco recently you should know that the new current owner and staff is top notch and is clearly committed to figuring out your concerns and not trying to sell you unnecessary repairs.

Aamco Sarasota kept my truck for a total of 6 weeks for a job that should (according to other professionals I spoke to during and after) have taken 1 week. Aamco quoted me $5200 to completely rebuild my transmission. They actually charged me well over $7000 for the transmission rebuild... and said after that it didn't include sevicing the 4x4. I then paid over $4000 additional for the 4x4 service to be done (without a quote, as the transmission didn't actually even work when I went to pick it up, and I had to leave it with them anyway). When it was finally "done" it turned out it still didn't work (despite them saying they test-drove it each time). They also took it upon themselves to replace a taillight lense,which I had placed in my back seat for later, but had not asked them to install (as it was a very simple task involving just 2 screws and a few bulbs). Somehow they even messed that up "rewiring my harness" as their technician boasted he had done for me. There was no rewiring needed and the rewiring they did caused issues which I alerted them to but despite a week to fix that, they did not. So, now my taillights don't work properly either. In all I paid them almost $12,000.00 to make my truck run right. They made several issues worse, kept it way too long, and because they didn't know how to or simply failed to do the job (like failung to secure my CV axle prior to one of their "test drives", (this, according to the mechanic I brought it to after, to put the cv axle in, who said it appears it had popped out and damaged my new shock before coming to their shop in my truckbed, bending the shock severely as well as damaging the axle. Long sad frustrating story short? Point is, if you want my opinion... I would highly recommend going elsewhere. If I could give negative stars, I would.

I took my older car in because it had some seepage from the transmission. Ammco told me I had a major problem and it would require a $3000+ repair job. I took it to two other shops where I was quoted about $400 to replace a gasket. enough said.

I was very satisfied with the quick fix they did on my air compressor! Great service! Was a little disappointed when they said that was the problem as I just had it replaced in Jan/2023! And after it was after like 5/6 months went back something wasn’t right and the last manager said nope it’s fine hence it wasn’t! Erin was great and kind enough to replace it at no cost (hoping this one is good and under warranty as well! All In all they are always there to help

100% recommend these guys! Had my camper towed in no charge the day i called. They were knowledgeable on transmissions, explaining the entire rebuild process to me, and I had no concerns trusting them with the repairs. They were upfront with pricing, and Evan kept me informed throughout the entire process. They kept my vehicle til it was 100% right, and after driving it for a week it has been great, temps are down with the bigger cooler and the shifts are smooth. Thanks again for getting my camper back on the road!

The next day, he called, told me what was the problem, how much is going to cost, I agreed with the estimate, and before noon, same day, he had the car fixed. We brought in an older car, over 200,000 miles, and almost 20 years old. There was quite a bit wrong, but Evan listened to what we were trying to do and made a recommendation to cost us the minimum amount of money so that we could sell the car and feel good that whoever got it was getting a fair deal and a safe vehicle.. Sure enough, we had a 90% plus improvement and how the car ran, and we minimized our expenditure. Thanks to the professional recommendation and the shop, listening to what our needs were.
