Quoted me $190 to change my front brake pads only . I was providing my brake pads as well stay away from this shop for any auto repair to avoid ridiculous prices honestly would rather just do the work myself

Tear/cut in radiator support cover, missing/broken nylon push clips, replaced resevoir tank without prior authorization from customer, broken transmission shift cable end not divulged to customer. After repairs in excess of $3K, some time later, the shifter stick would not engage the transmission gears. I had my vehicle towed back to this AAMCO to determine what the shifting problem was. After hrs of waiting, the mechanic/s determined nothing was wrong and returned my vehicle in operational condition. Some time later, the same problem occurred. Looking into the engine compartment, I noticed that the shift cable end popped off of the transmission lever. This prevented the shifting of gears from the shift stick. Luckily, I am kinda handy with some repairs on occasion. Although the major job of swapping transmissions was good, the unnecessary cost, due to shop mark up, and unrevealed collateral damages has this customer thinking this AAMCO's ethical transparency may be a real issue.

Explained everything from the beginning, and fixed the issue, and I haven't had any trouble since. I will definitely use them again.

Frustrating at first tbh. After 11 days and multiple conversations I learned management had changed hands. Now unfortunately they weren’t able to fix my issues but waiving the otherwise “$200+” I’m grateful they understood and empathized my situation. I will DEFINITELY go back for services just based on honesty.

AAMCO was diligent in diagnosing my AC problem. Even after they repaired what they believed to be the problem, they took it a step further when it was clear that wasn’t the final steps needed to repair the broken air conditioner.

Aamco Transmission did a wonderful job fixing my wife's Pontiac Grand Prix and for half the price as the other guys (Sun Devil). Jim makes great decisions on what's best for your car and your wallet. I'm new to Phoenix AZ. So finding a good mechanic was tough until I came here. I will continue to bring my cars and trucks here for repairs. I just wanted to say thank you to mechanics at aamco that keep my wife and I rolling!

I went to AAMCO and my first transmission was bad and they did replace it in a timely manner. Only thing is I called a few months ago indicating my transmission is having issues again and because the check engine light wasn’t on I feel the person I spoke to convinced me it was likely not the transmission. Because of this doubt I did not take it in and here I am again with transmission issues. And because this would be the 3rd time in a year having a transmission issue I decided to go someone else because now my warranty is expired. The experience was good but idk if I would recommend for a transmission replacement although that is their specialty. Wish they would’ve gave me reassurance instead of doubt.

Car stopped on me and my two little ones and I was frantic, as I was 2 days until payday. Marcus helped to arrange a tow that would be billed later and added to my repair. They got my starter replaced and checked on a few other things. My car now starts every time and it feel like everything else in the car is running smoother as well.

No issues with these guys they were professional about the job and quick. Had my transmission go out brought it to these guys gave me a price and in 2 days I was driving my truck again Only minor thing is parking is not so great. I would come back to these guys.
