The office manager lady is sweet as pie. That being said, DO NOT LET THIS LOCATION WORK ON YOUR CAR. The owner is nonchalant about passing off incomplete work as done. I had a warranty-covered motor swap. This crew had my car for almost 6 weeks. My vehicle came back with a slipped transmission and an active leak. The owner takes no responsibility and refused to be accountable for the work that wasn't finished. Of course the warranty paid this incompetent shop and i got to slip off into the evening. I called back and they never could give me an accurate time estimate for re-checking the car. They had the car most of the summer, hindering my commute to work. I was offered a loaner, but the owner never committed. I also got the car back filthy and reeking of B.O. I'd never go back, even if THEY paid ME.

Brought car here beginning of April 2022 . Had car for two to three weeks no correspondence if I didn’t call for updates no one called. Then the manager stated waiting on parts. I kept calling until finally I went and got my car. The day after picking up my car started making a loud noise. Took my car to the dealership. This place is Very unprofessional. Very unreliable not a professional business place . I would not recommend this Amoco business. The manager is a joke.

3200$ to fix my chevy impala, it was a number of things wrong with my car. One particular problem was my abs and traction indicators were on. So aamco on rising sun ave,told me it was the abs sensor, ok cool, I told him to make sure that was the problem, because it's not a such thing of double jeopardy. They changed the sensor,and the lights popped back up. I informed the owner,he told me I would have to wait till next week, and pay for them to fix the wire connected to the sensor,like I didn't already pay for the problem to be fix. I said whatever ill pay. He said he didn't have room to fix me in till next week. I called corporate to see if they can connect me with another aamco so I didn't have to wait. Corporate told me, if the problem isn't under Warranty That I would have to pay, Ok cool I'm OK with that,it's not fair,but whatever. Corporate called the manager at aamco and told him I was bad mouthing him.. So when I took my car back to aamco, The owner got mad and told me to let corporate fix it 😆 and if I didn't call corporate, he would have fixed it for me the next day when the indicator lights came on, In the same breath as him saying I have to wait till next week. And that's what I'm dealing with.

Great shop and good customer service. Used them three times over the years to rebuild transmissions. The last time, they started to check out the vehicle, stopped and called and told me the vehicle was unrepairable, or rather, I'd dig a huge financial hole to get it on the road and not to waste my time or money. They did an extensive review and were honest, lenient, and had great communication.

I want to start by saying the lady who works at the desk is nice and polite and created the only pleasant part of my experience with this company. The gentleman who worked on my car told me that he fixed my car, but it didn’t have gas, even though I gave it to him with half a tank. He kept giving me different reasons why my car wasn’t ready for me To make things worse, after initially telling me he had the part for my car, he then said he couldn’t find the part. When I did get my car, it had dirt stains on the inside of the car and grease on the trunk. I most definitely would never use this aamaco ever again

I went in to get my transmission repaired and radiator replaced I was told the car was ready and good to go after paying 6200 dollars for the repairs I pull out of the lot and the car is acting up like it had never been fixed I turn back around explain to them what had happened and I was told that I would have to wait I didn't leave so I pushed for them to correct the problem this after being told that the car had been test drove and all was fine with it they finally call me back and say the car is ready I ask what was the problem and they turned around and said that the transmission was never programed so I asked how did they test drive it and tell me all was good to go when I left the shop I was quite excited about having my vehicle back that I truly didn't notice that they had left the chain that they use to hold the engine up still bolted to my engine block the chain slid down behind the motor messing the coil packs up and check engine light coming on I stopped to check the vehicle because I was hearing a draging noice beneath my car so I take a look and there was the chain where it could have gotten caught on the street road and cause an accident or damage the vehicle even more which it did after seeing the chain hanging I look at the right passenger side wheel and realized that the sway bar also called stabilizer bar was never coveted back on to the strut I start to look at the car closer and the air filter canister was missing the bolt that held it secured and my fender and side of car had been scratched pretty bad when I claimed this to the owner he said that's why he fired the guy but that did not solves the damage caused to my vehicle as I paid for a job at the price of 6200 dollars and they did a total disgrace of a job with the attitude of not caring for yhe customers property it all seemed like a joke to them I won't recommend anyone getting any work there done and if u do check every part of your vehicle something u shouldn't have to do for such a well known establishment ammco transmission will never get my business again after spending 10.000 dollars over two vehicle that I had taken to them and they treated me as if it was ok for them to take my hard earning money and in turn doing such a bad job and allowing my vehicle to be treated with no car or concern what's so ever...... you will be hearing from my lawyer here soon may God bless those that have been through simular situations

Please shop around this shop is 100% overpriced. Wanted $2800-$3500 for a $1100 job I got done somewhere else.

Poor communication . Paid a lot and the car is still not drivable even though I have receipts stating they fixed the problem.

This was my first time trying to deal with this place , ignorant, disrespectful cheating bunch of idiots, 😡 I couldn't believe how they thought that cheating and lying to customers was a smart thing to do , people take it from me do not go there cause you will be robbed out of your money

I had my transmission changed there last week. They were quick and extremely friendly. Kris at the front is very honest and assuring. Just remember to read the fine print. They charge you a percentage of credit card transactions. So if you can, pay cash
