Dropped my car off and told the guy I needed him to look at it and see if maybe it just needed transmission fluid and he said he would check it out. He called me back in less than 30 minutes and told me that I needed a whole new transmission and it was going to cost $5600. They do have the option of financing it at 36%! I decided to get someone else to check it out and sure enough, he told me that it was just low on transmission fluid and when he added some it drove perfectly...

It's a shame how a "reputable" business like Aamco not only tries to a little bit rip people off but attempts to bend someone over tied up in their basement with no food water or lube for a year straight! Took my sons car in he told them the issues and told them he thinks it's the TCM. They call us back and say he needed a whole transmission replacement and could get a good rebuild for $6001 with tax and labor 🙄 um no that's OK towed it to the credit auto we bought it from told them we were told it needed a new transmission so yall going to have to just keep it if it's not under a warranty or can cut us a deal. Guess what it's the TCM actually a recall and it will be fixed no problem (side note big shout out to them we are 1k miles over warranty so credit auto could have bruised my knees but even offered a loaner while they fix it)

These guys are awesome. They replaced the transmission on my 06 explorer that only had 112000 miles and fixed the transmission on my 2017 dodge ram that was shifting very bad and only had 73000 miles. NO HELP FROM DODGE OR ANY OF THE DEALERS. This is an ongoing process to get Dodge to fix their garbage.. It never works

I tried 3 times from 3 different locations to get a simple transmission fluid and filter change. Every time was the same, I show up, sorry none of my mechanics showed up for work can't do it now. This place is a waste of time go somewhere else.

Took car in they told my transmission was fine nothing wrong turns put transmission is going out and needs replaced so I'd say they don't know wat they are doing

Took our chevy silverado here and I'm thankful I did. Scott walked me through the process. Had transmission rebuild and so far truck feels like new. 👍

Very sweet man so grateful to him needed serious help outta town here on Vaca and other places where trying to charge an arm and leg just to diagnose.....he was so great! Hands down would recommend to anyone!

Our transmission went out suddenly and put us in a bit of a bind because of an upcoming trip. The wonderful people at AAMCO of Oklahoma City successfully replaced our transmission quickly and were great to work with.

Thought I had a bad transmission took it here for an official diagnosis. They said I needed a new transmission and that the fluid was burnt. I knew the fluid wasn't burnt because I had just replaced it. Turns out my cv axle had just popped out far enough to where the splines weren't mating up. I wouldn't trust this place again.

I never write reviews but this is the WORST place ever. If you value your time and money please go elsewhere. Scott hung up on us 3 different times when asking questions about our car and after being confronted about it in person said he didn’t do it and continued to have a nasty attitude. If you don’t like your job QUIT!!! People here don’t appreciate your time or possible business. I recommend the EDMOND location instead, much better service

If I could give negative 5 stars, I would. I took my vehicle in on November 20th, 2, and 1/2 weeks later, they told me I needed my catalytic converter, replaced. Almost another week, the catalytic converter is on, but somehow, now my motor is locked up. I asked them how, but they don't know, I get, "We don't know, that's never happened before." I asked the guy to find a new motor to put in it, he calls me back 15 minutes later and says he found one but it would be way cheaper for them to go in and just find the problem and fix it. I agree to it. Finally, after all the back and forth, on January 11th, they say it's done. Almost $7200.00. I ended up having to take it back because the check engine light came on, and none of the lights, locks, anything on the inside worked. A few days later, I get it back, and it's in worse shape than when we dropped it off in November. I paid $7200 for a vehicle I can not drive. I will never use Aamco again, and I will share this review everywhere to warn others. They completely ruined my vehicle, and now I'm out $7200.00 and a vehicle.

Aramco is a reliable company overall. However, this location kept my car for 4 days while neglecting to call me and keep tabs. I made the initial call to see what would be a good time to bring my car in and told them what the diagnostic machine at auto zone said. So I took off work the next day and brought it in when they opened. Called around 1:30 pm to see where they were at with it. They said they hadn't started on it yet. No one could be bothered to call me and say, "hey, we are gonna have to keep your car for a few days, therefore you might want to make arrangements." No one there took it into consideration that I would be without a car for a total of 4 days. And I had to make every single call to get updated. Very frustrating when I was on the 2nd week of a new job.

Great deal compared to their competitors. They told us it would be a good 2-3 weeks for repairs, which would be expected for a new transmission, but they over-delivered and called me back within a week. Great service and great price!

I had an oil change done somewhere else and the guy told me I needed $3500 worth of work done. I took my car to Scott at AAMCO for a second opinion and he told me all I needed was new shocks, struts, and a sway bar. My total at AAMCO was $1900. AAMCO has trustworthy service, and they're very knowledgeable.

In the time it took for me to get an appointment for a trans fluid change. I was able to find out what I needed to do it, get the tools and change it myself and change it myself. Nice people im sure but their system is struggling.

Long story short took it in for a minor issue they came back and wanted 4k to remove the transmission and clutch and said that might not even fix the issue when asked for a printout estimate I was told they cannot give it to me and refuse to I don't see how a minor issue turned into a 4 thousand Plus this is the one on Southwest 89th and Western will not go back do not trust them

OK WHERE DO I START,,,,MY SISTER AN I TOOK HER CAR TO THE AAMCO ON 89TH AN WESTERN,,,,HER CAR HAD A WARRANTY,,,WE TOOK IT THERE TO GET HER ALTERNATOR REPLACED,,AS SOON AS SHE GOT IT THE AIR WASN'T WORKING,,THEY DRAINED THE FREON OUT THE VEHICLE AN DIDNT REPLACE IT,,,,TWO DAYS LATER HER CAR WOULDN'T START,,,HAD TO TAKE OFF WORK TO GIVE HER A JUMP,,,,WE WENT AN PUT A BATTERY IN IT,,THEN TWO WEEKS LATER,, THE STARTER WENT OUT GOT IT FIXED IN THE VEHICLE, ,,2 MORE BATTERIES LATER,,,STLL HAVING ISSUES,, THAT SHE DIDNT HAVE BEFORE THE ALTERNATOR WAS REPLACED,KEEP HAVING TO GET JUMPS ,,THE WORKER AT AUTOZONE SAID HE BELIEVES THE WIRES ON THE ALTERNATOR ARE TOUCHING,,AN DRAINING THE BATTERY,,HE CHECKED THE BATTERY ONCE AGAIN,,AFTER I GAVE HER A JUMP (YESTERDAY)BATTERY DEAD,,,,HE WAS NICE ENOUGH TO GIVE HER A NEW BATTERY SINCE SHE WAS UNDER WARRANTY FOR THE BATTERY,,,TODAY SAME ISSUE,,REMEMBER SHE DIDN'T HAVE ANY ISSUES AT ALL,UNTIL SHE GOT THE ALTERNATOR DONE,,,,,DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR AT LEAST TO THIS AAMCO,,,,,

Really disappointed. 2013 Camry has shuddering issues between gears, known issue for 2012-14 Camry’s with a faulty torque converter (TC), there’s a service bulletin out for it. My main mechanic said to ask a transmission place for a quote on the TC. I came here and said I think the TC needs to be replaced. I was told I shouldn’t believe everything I read online. They ran some tests, didn’t have a definitive answer. Told me they could try to replace the spark plugs and ignition coil. Funny story, I replaced the spark plugs ONE WEEK earlier because I thought that would be a cheap fix. Went to a certified Toyota dealer and they said it’s the TC, but it’s out of warranty. Too bad, I would have paid AAMCO $2000 to replace the TC, but now I’ll never come here again.

This place told us that they would diagnose the noise in our vehicle for free if we had our vehicle fixed there. We took it in. They told us that it was the transmission. We spent a total of $4000 to replace it. Got my car back and it was making the same noise. I talked to several people in management including managers at other locations and upper management. I was told they would get with the owners and get back with me and figure out a way to make it right. I had another mechanic look at it and they showed me that the noise was never the transmission it was a wheel bearing and a few other front end things. I still have not gotten that call back and it’s been weeks. My car is still not fixed and the cost of repair at this point is another $1700 to fix the actual problem that I took it in for. Trust is a huge thing with customer service. I do not feel that as a customer I can trust this place with my financial or physical safety.
