My first time here..I went to reprogram I can tell they are very professional.. I went to reprogram my GMC 012 transmission control module..(tcm) the guy on the front desk is very friendly and respectful.. I will recommend it

The mechanics are well qualified to perform motor repairs. Great major auto repair shop. Motor oil was mixed into my coolant resorvior. RPM automotive shop didn't do motor repairs so I had to locate another repair shop. Google & found AAMCO. AAMCO website (though different state), advertised work on motors! AAMCO trouble shooting and disassembly revealed a detoriating gasket inside of oil housing assembly and oil soaked hoses. AAMCO on Biscayne BLVD is a very busy auto repair shop in the north Jacksonville community. Car was in shop longer than I had planned due to holiday (New Year day) and weekend closures. On shop visits, Mark, shop manager showed me the bad gasket and the disassembled oil housing. On subsequent visit, I was shown new oil housing assembly. My 2012 Chevy Sonic has over 165K miles. Motor repair work was successfully completed with new oil housing assembly, coolant resorvior, gaskets parts, hose, two flush and labor $1,900. (Note: Since my car is 12 years old, I informed the shop I wanted new coolant resorvior (instead of cleaning and replacing part). Additionally, I opted for new hose.) Exceptional Customer Service: The mechanic and shop foreman knew I would be driving a long distance and ensured my car was road ready. After I picked up my car at 5:30 p.m., the following morning, I drove over 700 mi, no problems. I would recommend AAMCO for motor repairs. However, consider weekend closures. If your car requires motor work, make arrangements for alternative transportation for at least 1-2 weeks (diagnosis, trouble shooting, ordering & receiving parts, reassembly of motor and test driving).

I usually don't post.. But this was my WORST experience EVER.. referred by Toyota just to flush transmission. Did Free check was called by Mark, an was told that I did not need new transmission, But they would need to drop my pan to check. After 6 days my truck sitting at shop. I had to pop up to pick my truck up, with Mark, being very unprofessional & Argumentative. Now my truck is leaking heavy fluid all over my driveway. After being disrespeced by Mark..So I PAID for Aamco to Destroy my transmission, when I had no major problems. It's my work truck. Being that it's dwn for more days now. I hve not been able to work for my kids Christmas. Due to Employee being Angry. But God is Great.

Mark at Aamco is who you need to see for any issues dealing with your car. Mr. Mark is genuinely one of the few out there in the world still genuine and absolutely kind, understanding and honest. I am in an absolute financial turmoil and needed rather pricey work done and he still made sure I was able to get the work done and get my car back. If anything make sure you check these guys out and get your work done here. You won't regret it and the quality is top notch ! Thank you guys at aamco so much!

Don't service this business. My fiance and I experience was awful. Imagine going weeks without your vehicle and finally having the money for repair only for the situation to get worse. We were giving cheaper options at other repair shops but thought spending more with a reputable company would be the better option. We had our vehicle towed to the shop went and started paperwork and handed over the keys to manager Mark, who was on site. Only to get a call days later, stating the vehicle was broken into after hours because someone left it unlocked. He did apologize, but it was an insult to us that the minimum that could be done wasn't, which is at least to make sure workers lock the doors after taking possession of vehicles. We were told a discount would be given because of the circumstances only to have the work upcharged and paying the average price of service received, and still more than we would have, had we gone elsewhere. Now we're left with a crack dashboard, and the screen and radio are gone. We were not given company insurance information to file a claim and were told to reach out to our insurance. I've reached out to their corporate office and still haven't received a response, I am still hopeful the situation can be resolved and our vehicle fixed. The owner reached out two weeks ago. Reaching out almost a year later shows the lack of concern for the customers. I stand by my review and recommend that no one service this location. I feel the company only replied to make it look good for the public.

I usually do not add any comments but I have to say that Mark is one of the most honest, person that I know. He and his team are very professional and friendly. He was so patient working with my insurance, he kept me updated and answered all my calls. It is refreshing and appreciate it. My car runs great. Thank you, Mark!

Mark was amazing! Very customer service oriented. He kept his word, he was informative and made sure to keep me in the loop of everything going on with my vehicle! The place was clean every single time I visited! My vehicle runs great so far (it’s been a few days past pick up), my vehicle was garaged safely, returning back to me in the condition I left it. Overall, I’m satisfied with my total service and it’s helps that the price wasn’t that bad considering what needed to be done !!!

Outstanding service at Aamco! Very experienced and knowledgeable mechanics! They found out that we had a bad relay switch that sends a signal to the transmission control module and then to the transmission with being able to shift like it should in our 2006 Hyundai Santa Fe. Hats off to all you guys! You're Awesome and we can't thank you enough!! Great job!

I’m usually skeptical about taking my car to shops because of past experiences, but I was well taken care of here. All my concerns were addressed and auto/paper work was completed in a timely manner. The staff was friendly and Mark was professional. My car is running good so far. I hope everyone has the same experience. I recommend.

Now what a coincidence. I get a text to do a Google review for Aamco. Well here you go. I went from needing transmission fluid to needing a transmission after taking my car to Aamco. Aamco 10691 Dunn Ave Jacksonville Fl. does not deserve this franchise name unless birds of a feather flock together. I had no idea how bad the customer service was here until after I experienced it. Mike or Mark at the front desk is unapproachable and unprofessional. He charged me for a diagnostic test that he told me would be free. I had to call the cooperate office to get it back. He has a super smart ass mouth. Trying to provoke you to become just as unprofessional as he is. But it didn’t work. This place doesn’t deserve one star. Thanks for nothing.

Thought we needed a new transmission but after the diagnostics it was recommended to get routine maintenance (flushing of the system & adding new fluid) then reprogram the system. Saved us thousands & worked like a charm.
