My rebuilt transmission is going out after only 15,000 miles. And the warranty already expired at 18 months. I don't recommend this place to anybody

Dealer: we recommend $4000 for a replacement transmission. AAMCO: transmission is fine. Needs trans fluid flush for 1/10th the price.

I took my car in because I could hear a sound when I turned the steering wheel either direction and I was a nervous wreck about how expensive this could be and I was definitely saying my prayers and when daniel called me to tell me what was wrong with it, he said all it was, was a piece of plastic sticking out that was causing that problem and they trimmed it down and now the sound is gone!!! I am thrilled and there was no charge for that! I was blown away because he could have been dishonest and said he found other things wrong to try to charge me more but he didn't, he was very honest and did not try to take advantage of me. And that is what will keep customers to keep coming back because they are good, honest people who you can trust to take your car to and they do great work! I can't say enough good things about them. I think they are awesome and I would highly recommend them!

- GYPED OUT OF $150! - TRIED TO SWINDLE ME OUT OF $3500! PROOF AND PICS BELOW! I had a brake line leak (low pedal). I got quoted 3500! 3000 in labor to run new break lines. I also was charged 150 for scan which I could have done myself. I have a scanner or could have went to Auto Zone. Not sure if it was because they sent usually don't work on brakes or what. But most places can look at (inspect) your brakes for free. I took it down the road they are looking at it for free. I will give an update. I doubt the labor is 3000. I especially feel played for $150 because nothing new was discovered. Update I took my car down the street to CarX saved thousands. They inspected and diagnosed it for free. They called me around Noon and the job was done by 6pm same day. Mr. Strenski, I understand the diagnostic fee. It's just that most places will look at your brakes for free. I knew exactly what was wrong with with my car. If you feel that I should have been charged $150 that is fine. I don't think I should have. Most of the time your diagnostic fee goes towards the repair. The major problem is the $3000 in labor. This is ridiculous and I will never agree that it takes 20 hours of labor( @ 150/hr) to complete the job. So that is why I feel played for bringing my car there. If I would have gotten a reasonable quote. I would have went ahead an got it serviced there. Like I said most places will look for free. I know now that you're shop is overpriced. I learned that the hard way. Like I stated above CarX fixed it quicker and at a lesser cost. I only took it there because it was close and my brakes were compromised. But I believe no shop. In Indy would charge that amount. I do not recommend this shop. Ask how much before you hand over the keys.

A huge shout out to Daniel for getting my car serviced quick. My car was shaking and my check engine light was on. Daniel was able to get me in on the first available appt.to complete a test. Found out it was my Spark plugs and coils needed replaced. The total was 722.00. They have financial options available if needed. If you need your car fixed or checked please check them out.

Called Chev. dealership, couldn't get transmission checked until September. Called AAMCO, they got it in the next day. Had it checked by noon. Ended up being general maint. and had it done by 5pm. Quick, efficient, fair, and didn't try to make more out of a minor problem. Thanks. They were also referred to me by Tire Central (Goodyear) in Fishers, an organization I trust as well for same reasons.

Had a 2018 Camry that was having problems steering and making a squealing noise in the transmission. Took it to the Dealer and they quoted a transmission replacement for $10K and said the steering was fine. Took it to AAMCO and they replaced the steering and transmission for much less! Now my car runs great! Customer service was excellent and communication was top notch. I will definitely recommend AAMCO to anyone with vehicle problems.

Daniel and the staff are always incredibly helpful and stand behind their work. I'd highly recommend them especially if you have an older model car as they've taken great care of my 2003 model.

Awesome customer service and mechanics. I brought my car for testing the transmission since I been noticing some delay on the last gear to shift not all the times but sometimes. After all tests completed they were honest and told me there is no major or any issues with your transmission. Thanks.

I recently had a positive overall experience with AAMCO while addressing a concerning noise in my 2013 Jeep Wrangler. The initial courtesy check confirmed the issue, and Daniel Reynaud, the store manager, offered an 'advanced powertrain diagnosis' to address it, albeit at an additional cost. While there was a disagreement regarding the differential gear ratio initially diagnosed as 4.56 instead of 4.88, I must commend the team for their professionalism in handling the situation. I took my 97 Dodge Ram 1500 in for a diagnostics check on the transmission. Daniel was professional, up front, honest and professional. That got the truck in as scheduled and it was done slightly early. I will definitely do business with Daniel and the team here again and have actually already scheduled my next appointment with them. I took my vehicle in they gave the warranty people the wrong date I dropped my car off so I'm struggling to get my full rental reimbursement. Also I now have a popping or thump noise everytime I got the gas or breaks as well as at potholes, speed bumps and when turning. Did not have these issues prior to dropping my vehicle off. They are telling me the noise is nothing they caused. They claim it is ware and tear on suspension issues. Yet again my vehicle wasn't doing this when I dropped it off

I was wrong to come here, just because it was 5 minutes from my house. Excessively expensive, if you want to change your transmission don't come here. They want to charge me a little more than $7,000 to put a new transmission on me and I went to Nissan and they charge me exactly $4,842 to put it on a new one of course with warranty.

My manual will transmission Subaru was stuck in gear a few weeks ago, and these guys took great care of my baby. They took care of all of the warranty paperwork for me as I am not local. I live 120 miles away and these guys made the process nearly painless. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. I can't thank them enough.

This place is great! Service advisor is understanding and extremely helpful. The complimentary diagnostic and straightforward answers is a breath of fresh air. You rarely come across shops in his great anymore. I know when I send my family's cars here, that they will be fixed properly, and in a timely manner. I highly recommend this shop, and will be returning to them for any future work.
