I stopped by aamco out of convenience since it’s on my way to and from work at the hospital, but I will definitely choose this place as my go-to car maintenance shop after such a pleasant experience! Very friendly and knowledgeable staff, great pricing, and I didn’t feel like I was pushed to pay for unnecessary services like other places in town. Plus I was given a discount for working at UVA, thank you!

The saga continues…This is the umpteenth time I have had my vehicle back but for several different problems. Alec has been very helpful and accomodating as during all of this, I have been dealing with my husbands’ medical issues. He has given impeccable service while keeping me apprised of everything going on. I highly recommend this Aamco!

New management/massive improvement! If you had a bad experience in the past you'll be happy now. If you had a good experience you'll be thrilled. As a prior customer, I can say the ethical and pricing clarity is top-notch and the technician expertise remains 1st-rate. Alec takes on his role in delivering professional service with a personal dedication. This shop now has the high standards that should always apply to auto service. Hands down best shop in VA! Needed a transmission rebuilt, dropped it off Tuesday and had it back by Friday. I drive 45 minutes to go to these guys. They are the ONLY ones that will work on my cars. They do a lot more then transmission work too!!

Awesome experience!!! My transmission on my 2004 Acura went out. I called and spoke with Tyler and he gave me great information and stayed in contact with me throughout the process. Tyler was up front and honest about prices and how long it would take to repair. Tyler came in on a day they where closed and allowed me to pickup the vehicle due to my schedule. My car is driving great! I have had many repairs on vehicles over the years from many different repair businesses, Tyler and his staff is definitely one of the best!! If you want great customer service and great quality of work done call Tyler!

These guys are very good and fast, Tony can fixed anything and Tyler always manages to get our car in the shop no matter the day. They also always find the best and cheapest solutions for our car problems and Tyler has volunteered to argue with other car shops that had messed with our car so that they fix it. All around best shop in town, I wouldn’t even consider go anywhere else.

I spent $5000 on transmission repair, it did not fix problem. They then told me i needed a spark plug which another shop that fixed the problem so i spent $5000 for WHAT?????
