I have had the regretful and unfortunate experience of dealing with 4 different aamco locations, herricks road garden city (which to no surprise has went out of business) merrick road,lynbrook , ralph ave. brooklyn, herricks road, garden city for a second time, which had recently been acquired by the ralph avenue brooklyn owner, in addition to their corporate headquarters. every experience has been a stressful, costly and aggrivating ordeal. the valid 3 year 300,000 mile nationwide warranty was not honored after the engine they installed was operational for only less than 2 years. there has been no occasion that i have received my vehicle back from any aamco location without multiple other issues that have had to be repaired elsewhwere. they have appauling comunication employees were not only extremely incompetent and unproffessional, but exhibited outright hostility towards me in the form of profanity and hurling insults in response to me asking questions. almost $20,000 including tows and rentals in under 2 years and the vehicle has been rendered uninspectable, unreliable and unusable after the negligence and incompetence of their attempts at repairs to the vehicle. Response to response: “Exhausting dealing with me” translates into me asking too many questions so ill gladly accept that assessment as a compliment. Giving meager discounts on problems you created is not help. Maybe you should’ve given context as to why your son Eric felt the compulsion to call the police. He refused to let me pay my bill and release my vehicle to me unless I followed his orders to stop recording and documenting the transaction/interaction for my own protection, which is my right as new York state is a one party consent state. While awaiting for the police to respond your son eric and employee steph hurled insults at me and were antagonistic. When the police arrived they inquired as to why I was being charged if this was a “warranty job” as your son stated to them, and then ordered your son eric and employee steph to let me pay my bill and release my vehicle to me. This is precisely why the transaction/interaction was recorded and documented.

Since the first call Nakita and Wesley were extremely helpful. Never felt pressured, they were always very patient explaining in full detail what was wrong and needed to be done. Wesley also took care of all the annoying back and forth with dealers and warranty company which was extremely helpful. Definitely the spot to go to for all transmission issues.

AAMCO Ralph did an excellent job on my car I had to replace my whole transmission both Nakita and Wesley stayed in contact with me throughout the whole process. The professionalism between the workers and staff is phenomenal. If I have any issues or repairs I'm not hesitating to bring my vehicle to them.

Amazing customer service, they really care about their customers, the young lady at the front even in a stressful situation took her time with me to go over everything and not only do I feel my car is well taken care of I am happy I found a place where the service is as great as well the job of repairs is getting done all in one place! Hello my name is Steve and the Other Day I spoke to a helpful and resourceful representative from the Brooklyn location, her name was Nakeeda…I hope I spelled it right lol….but anyways after explaining and braking down the issue with my vehicle, Nakeeda was very resourceful in giving me important useful information about Aamacos policy, finance program and all the services and resources Aamaco provides…very professional, respectful, resourceful and passionate, what is there not to love
