Be very cautious of AAMCO! You shouldn't trust them with your vehicle! Took my vehicle in for a diagnosis on a minor transmission issue. Go figure their diagnosis was a full transmission rebuild for $4800. I asked about having a normal service completed to get by and they proceeded to tell me that fresh fluid and new filter would harm the transmission even more and pushed hard for a rebuild. That's basically telling someone new engine oil will blow up their engine, which is ludicrous. They also tried to sell me on some sort of financing option which is probably at some sort of exorbitant interest rate. I mean they tried everything in the book to get me to approve this expensive work, which turns out the vehicle didn't need. I drove my vehicle home and parked it until I could get a second opinion on my transmission issue. After a couple days I go to take my vehicle to an appointment at another shop and low and behold my driver side door handle is broken. I hadn't noticed the broken handle because when I picked up my vehicle from AAMCO the technician drove it up to me and courteously kept the door open for me so I could get in. The technician at AAMCO did mention the door was "sticking" but I didn't think anything about it at the time. The problem is I have no proof of them breaking it, so now I have to fix that problem too. The second transmission shop determined it was just a solenoid that needed replacing, and a normal fluid service. My transmission DID NOT need a full rebuild like AAMCO was adamant about it needing. I was nice and gave them 2 stars because I think there are some nice and respectful people working there that I don't think want to do harm to people. I think it's just the company itself are praying on unknowledgeable people in hopes of a big pay day. Once again be very CAUTIOUS about taking your vehicle to them!

Me and the wife took her to Ford focus 2017 there and they fix the transmission, it shifts great and runs good. They got it done in 2 day after the parts came in.

Very friendly, very knowledgeable and very, very very honest I had a driver from out of Georgia broke down and they got right on it and got us right back on the road I wish their shop was in my neck of the woods. I would use them on everything great people to work with and I highly recommend them. I would have gave 10 stars, but it only let me do five

I had my truck worked on several time before bringing it to AAMCO, the problem was never properly diagnosed. The customer service with Kathy was amazing and within a week my truck was finally fixed. I can not say enough about Kathy and the crew. I have definitely found my go to auto mechanic.

Terrible experience. Had truck 3 times for a total of 7 weeks, they still don't have a clue what's wrong with it. Paid them over $3000 and it is still doing the same thing that it was originally!

I just recently got my vehicle transmission fixed with AAMCO here in Beaumont Tx. Mrs. Kathy Cude OMG SHE IS AWESOME. SHE REALLY takes the time with me and the process of getting the issue with my car fixed. She keeps you informed of what's going on with your vehicle. Thank you Kathy and AAMCO for all you've done.

Called for a quote for a transmission repair, and the woman on the phone was sarcastic and told me "we don't sell transmissions here"... I think that is pretty obvious, as I was calling for a quote to have it repaired. She said the transmission specialist would call me back and took my information. I never received a call back.

Do not bring you're vehicle to Aamco in Beaumont brought my truck there last week because I was getting the symbol for my transmission they said it was caused by a week battery causing that transmission sensor to come on so they changed the battery Yesterday the same transmission symbol came back on so I called them this morning now they want me to pay them to diagnose the problem when I just paid them last week to fix the problem. Biggest scam artist around you'd be crazy to give them you're business!!!

Had to stop to get my question ignored in person. All I need is to have ATF added to my BMW. It’s already had a transmission service in January, it’s nowhere near due for another. Was told it would be $79 to “find out what’s wrong with the transmission”. I know what’s wrong: the fluid is low. Tried strong arming me into an appointment to pay them $ for not doing what’s needed. Not happening.

On 12-26-23 I took my car back to AAMCO for them to diagnose why my car was still experiencing problems. Ms. Kathy was very more than willing to understand what needed to be addressed to eliminate the problem. . She kept me up to date on any issues of concern. I spoke with the machanic who repaired my car. He was very cordial and displayed signs of concern and wanted to make sure that I was satisfied. Ms. Kathy gave me the part that was causing the problem. Evereyone that I spoke to there were very caring and very professional. I want to thank all of them for their input.
