Can't it too find why my car was stalling able to find the problem, did not try to gouge me, saw the price of the price locally was upwards 100 dollars plus laborwhen it was 15 on Amazon. Showed me how to replace it easily( was willing to do it if I didn't want to), car is now running great. Much appreciated.

First off let me say I DO NOT RECOMMEND! I thought the job would’ve gotten done after reading the reviews and it seemed like they were good mechanics so my mistake. I’m typing up this review cause I wouldn’t want it to happen too anyone else who doesn’t poop out money. I was excited to hopefully having my car fixed after paying Fred $150 to diagnose my car and him telling me it was my fuel pump so I told him my financial situation and he gave me a number to pay upfront and we agreed to that amount just for him to throw it in my face after he dropped the job. I didn’t get the job done right away after the diagnostic because I needed to come up with the money that he was gonna charge me and I was also waiting for the fuel pump that I ordered to come in. The part gets here so I reach out to him and he told me he can start the job as soon as 8am i text him at 7:17am to give me a call as soon as he gets the chance and I didn’t receive a phone call. I message him at 7:47 that I got a tow truck to move locations so it’s safer for him cause that’s one thing he was complaining about, so then he texts back at 7:49 sounds good and he’d give me a call as soon as he can, I didn’t receive a phone call until 8:24 telling me he picked up two other jobs because he didn’t know how long the tow truck was gonna be and mind you he didn’t even ask if the car was at the new location before he took on those two “jobs”(my vehicle was already at the new location he just decided to answer that for himself) so he told me those jobs shouldn’t take too long that he’d get to me around 10:30 here comes 10:30 I have to reach out to him asking if he will still make it, so then he said 11:30 here comes 11:30 I have to reach out AGAIN asking him about his eta then he didn’t reach back out to me until 12:30 that he’s almost done with the job he’ll be at my house “real soon” then close to 1:30 he texts me that he finished up a job and will be on his way in a few minutes, so then he messages me at 1:58 he’ll be at my house in 25 mins he gets here at 2:28 and starts working on the car just for him to tell me he can’t get the job done because fuel will get on him and this is his first time working on a car like mine and my mom tries to talk to him and see if her husband can maybe empty the fuel tank for him and he can come back and work on it and he AGREES so I message him asking if a siphon pump will work better to get the fuel out and he officially drops the job and I tell him I’m going to write a review because it was so much going back n forth with him this morning that completely aggravated me that he couldn’t get the job done and who knows if he messed my car up because he said he even tried YouTubing it. So if you think about getting a newer vehicle fixed by this company or self employed possibly I DO NO RECOMMEND!!!

Listen. I had a dead car in my driveway for about a month. Called him. He told me could come immediately and he would pick up a new battery on his way. What a great guy he shows up he's chatting it up with the neighbor giving him some tips and I'm like dude he didn't call you know I'm just teasing. (I said if that to show his personality!) Open the hood sees how bad my corrosion was and said didn't worry, I got this. After only 20 mins car started right up and he even dropped the old battery off on his way. 5 STARS 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩 for sure. All for a freaking reasonable price.

Fred saved me not once but twice while we were visiting San Antonio and my Jeep wouldn't start...changed out my starter then we realized that all that trying to start it also drained my needing to be replaced battery, so he came back to me and went and got me a battery and installed it, as well! Got me back on the road so we could leave our vacation to go back home the next day! Thanks, Fred!!

I had the best experience with A1 mobile mechanic. Not only did he do a wonderful job and my van is running excellent but he was very professional and is a excellent mechanic. I have used other mechanics before here in San Antonio but I got the best price and the best work for my money. I made a mental note in my mind that I now have a mechanic for all my needs that I can trust and one who knows how to get the job done. I highly recommend A1 mobile mechanics to anybody. What an amazing experience with this team. Set the meeting on a major holiday, where requirements and options were clearly outlined. Met us at the towing company promptly at the agreed to time and was ready to work. Excellent diagnostics and we identified what the probl m most likely was. He started the work and we ran off to get some parts that we did not plan for. While in route we were contact d and informed it was not what was expected and was in fact a totally different root cause. We agred to a path forward and they accommodated us even though it was substantialy less then what was expected. I could not be happier with the professionalism and conduct of the company and the repair work they did for us. If your looking for a mobile mechanic you can trust to do the right thing look no further. They are my mobile mechanic of choice in the San Antonio region. Thanks so much for the excellent service!

Bad no good didn't finish my job just took my money and on top of that he charge me 250 and I gave him $200 because my car didn't start he was like he was even crying for $50 why am I going to pay someone a mobile mechanic to do my job he left everything loose alternator he didn't want to turn it on when you hire someone they supposed to make sure your car turns on not just put on the part and just take the money and leave he didn't want to stick around and try to make my car turn on so bad one so be careful whoever your hired as a mobile mechanic sorry sir the starter was good it's just that you didn't finish your job it has nothing to do with the starter they checked it and it was good it's just that you didn't plug something right

I have no reason to lie matter of face I’ll post a video of a REAL MECHANIC EXPLAINING WHAT HE DID WRONG !!! Honestly, I would avoid this mechanic completely, I don’t know what worst his work or fake grill he lies thru I had him work on my BMW after he said he has worked on many foreign cars. Not only Did he mess up my spark plugs completely he also didn’t put the coils in right and he pulled up my ground. Plug which caused my car to misfire. He did not fix the problem that he solved. He just left after taking my money very unprofessional. I would be very cautious and look over him while he works, if you Do you decide to waste your money with him . He couldn’t even properly do a oil change
