As usual, the guys at A1 are the best. We had an issue with a power seat control that was not good. They quickly diagnosed and fixed the issue. Always honest and reasonable. The only place I’ll take my vehicles!

I have had multiple cars in for various repairs. All repairs have been completed as promised. On one occasion I did have a continuing oil leak from a repair done six months previously. The shop did additional repair work at no cost to resolve the issue. I did receive an immediate follow up from the owner who went above and beyond to make this right. Clearly, this is a small business owner, who values his reputation in the community, which is appreciated in this day and age.

I was stranded in Lincoln and didn’t know what to do I walked in the door of A 1 Automotive and Curt the shop manager walked with me back to my car to find out I needed a battery he installed it for me all under 30 min. Curt I must say you were my life saver today thanks you for your great work. Thanks for blessing me today!

With having severe anxiety these guys were nothing but amazing. I had my car towed in because I couldn't figure out what was going on with it. Weirdly the problem disappeared when it got there but I figured I'd have other work done since it was there. They did my bearing, breaks and rotors and in a fast amount of time. They even stayed late because my car got done right before close and I wanted to come grab it. 10/10 will be taking my car there again. Also if you get the chance go check out their wings on the building before they redo it it's gorgeous!

Wanted to give them a try based on word of mouth, but unfortunately their follow up and customer service is horrendous. Feel's like my money isn't good enough or maybe I'm not worth their time. E-mailed for a quote for a project near and dear to my heard to restore my fathers van who passed away, patiently waited 4 months for the quote for engine rebuild and nothing. I decided to give a second chance recently saying forget rebuild, lets just drop a new motor in it, keep it simple. They said I'd get quote in a few days and again weeks later nothing. This is not how you treat customers that are willing to spend several thousand dollars to fix a nostalgic vehicle. So now unfortunately I have to find another shop that is willing to work/help me because I shouldn't have to beg for service.

A1 did a comprehensive diagnosis of my car. They informed me of all issues before proceeding. Curt kept me up to date on the status and time line. Everyone is professional and friendly. This is a really great experience and I wouldn't even consider taking any of my vehicles elsewhere.

Retired auto tech here. If there were any high pressure sales liars around still, They all ended up here. These guys dont know up from down, but they sure know how to lie to you and give you the warm squishy when its over. By all the 5 star reviews they pulled one over on all of you. Anyone who trusts their car to them is a fool. Heres your warning Kendle, quit lying to people or the real dirt is going to come out about your techs, you and your liar advisor. Honesty is not a real thing at that business.

I am a college student up in Lincoln without my parents help with car issues and maintenance, A1 automotive has consistently been absolutely amazing in terms of service and communication. The last time I went to pick up my car, I realized that they were actually already closed for the day and they sent someone down outside of business hours to make sure I was able to pick up my car! I would recommend A1 Automotive to anybody in Lincoln area who feels a little bit overwhelmed with car problems as they are amazing workers and an amazing company to support!

My daughter's car had some trouble on a trip across the country. She stopped in Lincoln and we found A-1. They fixed her car in a reasonable amount of time and they did not take advantage of her. They communicated with us and we're great all around.

My daughter, 1500 miles away from, me had a car throwing a code. She took her car to A1. I was very pleased to learn that although they were very busy they had a mechanic go out to check out her car as she waited. The code had been stored, but was no longer active. The mechanic explained what could potentially be wrong (timing chain issue), but based on what he heard determined it was no more than low oil (which throws the same code). He could have completely taken advantage of her, but in the end did not even charge her a diagnostic fee. They have earned her future business by showing their integrity. It’s nice to see businesses like this are still out there!

Honest evaluation of problems and priorities. Fair and reasonable estimates that are pretty close to final total. Work was completed on time, as promised, with professionalism and integrity. Cannot recommend highly enough. They really are A-1!

I brought a coupon I received in the mail. The guy that helped me at the front desk asked when I received it and I responded with I don't remember I just brought it along. The guy said, it's not the right price, so I couldn't use it. Also the guy at the front desk asked if I wanted my tires rotated because it's a good idea when you have your oil changed to have it done. I know that is something that should be done. It would have been nice to know that I was going to be charged for that as well. I will probably be looking for service some where else. Thanks for your service.

Nice people, but unfortunately I never got the desired result! My KIA Sportage has misfires in the cylinders, and no one knows why this happens. I have been to several places, and everyone gave a different conclusion, it's a shame about the time and money spent.

There is no other shop in town like A1. Probably time to make the switch to A1 if you haven’t already. Clear communication. Clear costs explained with photos, when needed, before any work is completed. They go above and beyond to take care of you. Take a look at the 1-star reviews and you can see they take responsibility when it’s on them and work hard to correct issues. Forever an A1 customer. (I even bring my vehicle from out of state because they are that great.)

This place is the absolute best. I don’t know anything about cars. I barely know how to turn on the de-frost. Having a an auto mechanic that I truly trust, shoot me straight and provide the best service and prices gives me such peace of mind. Would definitely recommend to anyone.
