You will NOT find a more trustworthy and reliable mechanic than Mike and the whole team at AA Auto repair. I’m fortunate enough to have found them upon moving to the Tampa Bay Area almost 10 years ago, and I couldn’t be happier. They are an awesome family owned business who takes the absolute best care of their clients. I’ve brought all of my cars here over the years and they’ve kept them all running in tip-top shape. Great prices and customer service. As long as I live in Tampa, I’ll continue to trust them with all my auto care needs. They are usually VERY busy, so be sure to call ahead. Thank you for everything! Amazing auto shop! Family owned, family ran. They provide the cheapest quotes for the best quality of work. Their quote was almost $300 cheaper than other shops in the area. I cannot express the lengths they went to make sure my girlfriend and I walked away happy customers. Great location for Ybor residents. Will definitely be returning for future repairs and service maintenance. This is your quickest most convenient option in the area, thank you Xavier!

I’m from Canada and I had been making my way through the US for a road trip. When I arrived to Tampa, my car sensors were broken and my car wasn’t able to drive properly. The owner and staff at the auto shop were absolutely lovely. They took my car in and fixed it same day (I had booked a hotel in Nashville the next morning). You can absolutely tell that everyone in that shop loves what they do and really care about helping others. If I ever move to Tampa I’d definitely recommend and come back!! One of the best shop experiences I’ve had.

I would absolutely recommend them to anyone. I get into my car in my way to work and get a low tire pressure notification. I check and see there is a nail in one of the passenger tires. Luckily A&A was close. I arrive and Xavier was very courteous and professional. He saw that I was on my way to work and quickly began to work to patch my tire. I was in and out in less than 20 minutes. I will definitely be returning for future car needs. It’s very hard to find honest, kind and professional people and I’m am grateful to have found this business.

A&A Auto in Ybor City is an absolute Godsend. The owners are wonderful, dedicated and creative, and they and their staff all seem to like each other--it is the most refreshing place I've ever brought my car to. They helped service my older Yaris last year; it ran better after, had been completely checked over, and they saved me money while explaining everything to me. Recently I brought the Yaris to them again, readying for a long trip north. Again I was able to speak with the mechanic, and he and Xavier were kind, patient and so generous with how they handled this visit. My trip is now anxiety free! The only sad thing is that I'm leaving the area after having found this exceptional mechanic. I am grateful, and I highly, HIGHLY recommend their services. :)!

These are good people. They helped me figure out why my battery light was coming on, and after explaining that it wasn't an issue worth buying a new alternator over (slightly corded connection where the computer reads the voltage from, but otherwise it was working fine), they sent me on my way at no cost. I'll definitely be back next time I need work done on my Crown Vic.

Where do I begin? Great team, including proprietors Carla and Mike, their son, Xavier, Rob and others. After establishing an initial relationship with them, I felt like - and was treated like - a longtime customer. Great service, really affordable. Recognizing the myriad of issues with my Rogue, Mike said "I sharpened my pencil as much as I could." They really work well with customers and as a team. Thank you for giving me a safe place to land after my former longtime mechanic retired.

I came across excellent reviews about this place, which happened to be conveniently located near my workplace. The service provided was not only honest and professional, but also quick and friendly. I bought a used car last March, then moved to the Tampa area in April. Finding a good, trust worthy mechanic can be rough and of course the car I bought almost immediately started having multiple issues. I'm SO glad I found Mike and his crew at AA. They've fixed everything that's gone wrong, more often than not, they fix it same day, and the price is always reasonable despite everything being so expensive these days. Everyone there is great and respectful (the ladies know it's a big deal when these guys are respectful and don't act like you're a dumb chick who couldn't possibly understand how an engine works 🙄) Seriously can't recommend highly enough. I'll never take my car anywhere but here!
