Been going here since I got the recommendation from a friend 8 or so years ago. Always have done right by myself and my entire family. Even ended up getting an engine swap from these guys for a very very very affordable price, and had that engine last another 100k before I sold the car. Always worth the waiting period to get on their schedule.

Update: The maintenance team smudged my car seat, interior door handle, and window during their service. I understand they were busy attending to other customers, but it was frustrating to have to clean up afterward. It would be great if they could take a moment to tidy up any mess in the future. For anyone planning to use their services, just be aware you might need to do a bit of cleaning afterward. Original: Fast and friendly service. I dropped off my car for an oil change after the reservation. They’re about to close, but one of the technicians told me he’d finish in 30 minutes because it’s an easy task for him. Paid about $72 for a synthetic oil change, but that’s what I got when I needed some help. Would recommend everyone around this area to this repair shop. Be sure to make a reservation since everything gets booked pretty quickly!

They are reliable, call you to provide updates on your vehicle and usually get any work done same day. As a woman, I trust them and never feel like they are trying to oversell to me. Been going here for over 5 years, highly recommend.

Auto shop truly deserving of its name. No shady or funny business going on here. Honest and good mechanics that wont upsell and helping its community stay safe on the road. These guys are awesome! They replaced a steering rack and lower control arms for my vehicle. For my vehicle I was told that it was a complex, time-intensive repair that would require removing my engine. Most shops in Austin were quoting me astronomically high rates and multi-day repair times. 5Star gave me a very reasonable quote, and had the entire repair done in one day. A bonus is that their parts and work are warrantied for a year. Couple weeks after the repair was done, it turned out the new steering rack was defective, so I brought it back in and they replaced and repaired it in one day, no questions asked and at no additional cost to me. They were professional from start to finish. The employees, techs and everyone there are friendly, respectful, trustworthy and treat everyone professionally and kindly. I was blown away with this place, especially considering how bad customer service is around Austin. I'll definitely bring my car here for all future repairs and can not recommend them enough.

These guys are awesome. My car got into a wreck and thankfully with insurance I was able to get it repaired. These guys were polite, patient, and did an amazing job repairing my car. Took maybe 7 business days to complete, very professional and excellent service.

This is the only place we take our vehicles. The office staff will answer every question and make sure you understand what repairs are needed. They wait for approval before any work is done. Prices are fair and they back the work. We can't imagine taking our cars and trucks anywhere else. 5 Star Auto gets 5 stars from us.

Took a couple days to get an appointment, but the guys diagnosed and fixed a cooling system problem and got the car back the same day. I had another problem with my second car, I have to say, these guys are fantastic. Fair price and super quick service turnaround.
