I’ve now been to 3rd Street garage several times. They worked on my brakes and when the pads had a problem they just fixed it, no fuss, no muss, no extra cost. They even offered to replace lug nuts that were worn out- and not by them! What impressed me though was the honesty and integrity that I saw in each interaction. It’s a small family shop and when I explained that I was having an issue they worked at it until it was perfect and stepped me through every step of what they were trying. You know how when you buy a new car and it’s recommended you take it to a mechanic you trust to look it over? Well, I’ve found mine. I trust these guys. They were honest, didn’t rob me, and made sure that the work they did met the highest bar. I will be using them for years to come.

I've always had a good experience with this business. Today I took my Lexus sedan in to have the driver's side heat shield above the muffler re-secured. Sewell Lexus wanted to charge me $550 took it to 3rd Street Garage and after visually inspecting they did it for 1 hour of Labor saving me a considerable amount of money. I find this business to be very honest and reasonable . A valuable asset to our community.

Tried to scam me for thousands of dollars when all I needed was a simple alignment. Do not go here. DO NOT. They will take advantage of you and think you are dumb.

Excellent service, very kind and friendly staff. We drove in with our car issues without calling ahead and they were able to fit us in the same day, helped make arrangements to get us home and ended up chatting with us for ages when we fetched the car. I won't be taking my car to any other place in the area.

I went to this garage after my car turned off and was flashing a light that said low oil pressure. They diagnosed it with a faulty oil pressure sensor. A few days later the same thing happened and then the check engine light also came on. I went back to the garage and the guy at the front said " well we don't know if it's the same problem and we will have to charge you another diagnostic fee". I explained that the car, was doing the same thing it was doing before. And when I mentioned that the labor and parts where under warranty as stated on the receipt he became irritated raised his voice and threw his hands up and said " I have worked at many car shops and this is how things work". I left and took my car somewhere else. I have never written a review in my life but wanted to warn people about the treatment and faulty work I expirenced at this establishment.

Look no further if you are needing auto work done. Michael and the team at 3rd street garage are honest, dependable, and friendly. I won’t take my car anywhere else. As a customer it is nice to know they have your best interest in mind. Michael has always communicated openly with me in regards to my vehicle!

Husband broke down and was towed to 3rd Street Garage in Frisco and Michael took great care of us. Excellent service and super helpful Very Happy!!!! Honestly I highly recommend them it’s my 2nd experience once my car and now husband’s truck. Transmission went out and Monday got it and Friday it’s perfect! Chevrolet will NEVER TOUCH HIS TRUCK AGAIN! Oh not only fix the bad part but entire replacement of the guts! Now like new 💕💕🥰 Best quick oil changes and stop royal purple oil change! I've been coming here on the recommendation of a coworker since moving to the area in 2020. Michael is an honest man and I enjoy doing business with him. A word of advice: please make sure that your vehicle is in decent enough shape to be worked on, one morning when coming in for an oil change, state inspection, or whatever it was, a previous customer left a bag of garbage with maggots crawling all over/out of it. It stank up the whole area and was most unpleasant and unsightly. Do your due-diligence for Michael, and he'll do good work for you!

Love their online approval system, the fact that they offer after hours drop off, and the absolute friendliness of the crew. Got a tire puncture repaired, state inspection, and an oil change. Very versatile.

Michael is honest, fair and he stands by his service. I have always driven 10-20 yr-old cars and for the last 5 years he has done everything to my cars from oil changes to AC repair. I have never been "surprised" by the final bill because he always calls me with a solid estimate after he diagnoses the issue and before repairs start. He has a convenient "night drop" so you can leave your car after work. Michael's 3rd Street Garage is the only auto repair shop I will ever recommend.

Came for an inspection and it took an hour. Failed the inspection for lights and gas cap. I went to O’Reily’s and changed that out real quick. I came back 20 minutes later for the guy to say they couldn’t do the inspection due to being to busy and that they would be ready for an hour and a half. He stated that they would have to do the inspection all over again. I knew he was lying but I said ok. I came back later for them to check lights and gas cap took about less than 5 minutes. I will never come back to this establishment and I will advise other not to as well. Front desk guy was rude and horrible service.

I am very pleased with the repair work that I just had done at 3rd Street Garage! My car wouldn’t start and after I replace the battery, still no luck. Michael was able to recommend a really great towing service and once receiving my car followed up to let me know it had arrived. Michael was very good at explaining the diagnosis and the steps needed to repair my car, including pricing. I was very pleased that my car was repaired the next day and ready for pick up. Michael is very detailed and customer oriented. I really appreciate their honesty and fair pricing. I highly recommend 3rd Street Garage!

I had first taken my car to Honda for repair. They gave me an estimate for ignition and starter. I luckily had a 2nd opinion with 3rd Street Garage. Michael told me I only needed the starter repaired, and the ignition was fine. If I would have gone with Honda I would have wasted a lot of my hard earned money. I also had my inspection done with 3rd Street Garage. Thank you guys so much for your honesty, courtesy, and fantastic repairs. Very quick repairs also.

I initially took my car to another shop and was quoted over 2000$ when I initially went in for just an alignment. I have 0 car knowledge and had no idea what I should do. My friend recommended this shop, they made an appointment for me the next day. They were honest and told me which systems truly needed to be flushed and which ones were ok. They informed me of what repairs were needed and how to better maintain my car. My car was done and ready in about 3 hours and it was much more affordable. It’s an hour drive to get to this shop for me, but I’ll make the drive every time having peace of mind that I can trust this company.

I've consistently been impressed over the last few years, with service and skill of the shop manager and the mechanical team. Prices are fair, they don't push unneeded work and always explain your options so that can make informed decisions about necessary auto repairs. This is my go to auto team. Give them a try you won't be disappointed.

This service has been the best experience I have had with a mechanic; Michael was able to dissect the issues quickly and clearly, along with explaining my options with the same clarity. And hey, I'm no pushover. He got my car in and out of the shop the next day, which was impressive since they were complex issues. The next day, I was at a coffee shop down the block, and I had a dead battery. Being new to town and not knowing anyone, I walked down the street, and even though they were slammed with work (and at the end of the day), Michael had one of his crew not only jump my car but had me come back with a new battery and put it in for me. My car‘s battery is buried in the car, so that was a big deal. Michael did not know that I had just lost my parents, but this went a long way for me. If you need a trusted mechanic that will shoot you straight, treat you and your time with respect, and give you a handshake with a smile, then the 3rd Street Garage is your place. I’ll be back.
