Sham shop that quotes a bunch of work that doesn't need be done. They quoted me over $10k worth of work. I went to another reputable shop that my buddy recommends, and the other shop said none of that work was necessary. I don't leave many Google reviews, but felt like I had to balance out the 4.8 stars if they're doing stuff like this.

The new Eagle 27th is comfortable with a larger parking lot than the Boise one. All the staff was competent and helpful. Quick service.

Had an issue with my jeep. During their very extensive diagnostics, they explained their findings in detail and were very helpful in helping me decide what to do. In the end, they charged me only for the work that was done. Excellent and friendly service.

I can’t say enough good things about 27th Automotive. I came to them thinking my Toyota Sequoia had a blown head gasket and was completely at a loss, but they were incredibly helpful, informative, and went the extra mile to help me figure things out. They provided thorough testing and consultation, walking me through the situation with honesty and clarity. Even though I didn’t end up doing any major repairs with them this time, the experience was so positive that I’ll definitely be coming back for future maintenance and repairs. What really stood out is their professionalism and the fact that they offer a warranty that’s actually worth a damn—something you don’t see everywhere. If you’re looking for a trustworthy, dependable shop that truly cares about its customers, look no further. Highly recommended!

This shop is tops! I came in with a crank, no start issue, and 27th Street's team dug in until they found the issue (because it naturally started right up for them upon testing). Once they did find the root cause, they did nothing until they asked me for approval. That process was SO EASY! I reviewed their recommendations, approving or declining as I saw fit. Now, my car runs like new! I never once felt pressured by them, and their work was completed quickly and cleanly. This is my new forever shop!

2 stars because they gave me my money back. They are very nice. The vehicle service is not great from my experience. I took my Jeep to 27 Automotive for an alignment on my Wrangler after putting an AEV lift on it, figuring it would be better than the bigger stores with less experienced people. AEV does not provide or recommend adjustable control arms or track bars. As soon as I put the lift on, my vehicle pulled left and got a bit of a steering wheel shimmy when I hit bumps. I figured an alignment would help. So I dropped it off for the alignment. I was quoted $165 over the phone before bringing it in, which seemed high to me, but "you get what you pay for". I ended up paying just under $185 which includes a $16.50 fee for "shop supplies, or machine wear". BS fee for extra cash grab. I was told I needed adjustable control arms in the rear to make the vehicle drive straight, but the alignment was done and my vehicle was ready for pickup. I let them know I would do some research to confirm and likely buy and install the control arms on my own, and then have them complete the alignment. When I picked up the vehicle I didn't notice any difference and my steering wheel was not straight still (usually part of an alignment). I reached out to AEV and they said the front axle being slightly to the driver's side would show up as rear thrust angle out of spec on the alignment, but the vehicle should still drive straight. I went back to 27 Automotive and talked to their tech that worked on my alignment to get more info regarding his findings. What he told me was that, "once he saw that the rear end could not be aligned, he stopped there and did not touch the front end". Since the rear end has no adjustment, he didn't align the rear at all, and he didn't touch the front. I left the shop to ponder the info and on my drive, I realized I think they charged me for nothing. I called the shop and asked what I was being charged for since the rear was not adjustable and the front was untouched. I was told that he did the best alignment he could without having full adjustability to get it perfect. I responded again with he couldn't algin the rear and he didn't touch the front. She put me on hold and talked to the tech. She came back with "it was a miscommunication and we will get your money back". While that was good and I'm glad they made it right, I still won't recommend their shop. If I had not gone in myself and talked to the tech, I would have paid for absolutely nothing. While mistakes happen, this is a big issue and no way to do business. I took my vehicle to Advanced Suspension Design in Twin Falls for a second opinion since they're an AEV dealer and work on a lot of offroad rigs. They put the vehicle on their machine and asked me to come back there to show me something within 3 minutes. My drag link joints were worn out and they told me to go get it covered under warranty rather than spend a lot of money up upgrading parts. They also dialed in my alignment as best as possible with the worn out joints. It took them less than an hour and it was about $120 which was exactly what they quoted me without any BS fees involved. It drove straight on the way home and did not have as much of the wheel shimmy. Sorry 27 - I wanted to be a customer, but your first impression was not a good one.

A great experience for "just" needing a battery! It's a bit more complicated these days - so I was really glad to have Trish and the team to help get this resolved... great, reliable service for a vehicle is a lot like needing an amazing pediatrician for your kids! I know I've found that at 27th Automotive... thank you!

11.20.24 - Update: I continue to bring my truck to this shop. (I sold the Cadillac). I find the team here to be thorough, great listeners, and I have never had to bring back a vehicle for the same issue. They have a nice office where you can work while you wait if you choose, and they know who you are when you arrive and what you want done. Other places I've gone seem to have poor communication and you have to restate the reason you're there several times. Overall, working with this team of people is very easy! Check them out, you'll be glad you did! 27th Automotive built a new building in Eagle, I watched it go up and was curious. It’s very close to my home so it made sense that I might try to use them. Looked at the reviews. All of them seemed glowing, and my experience was the same thank you for a great service on my cars!

Went to the new location on state out near Eagle and they already had that running smooth. Great service from the front office to the technicians, no issues with taking my car in for any type of repair next.

When you decide to rebuild a 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee, or rather the head gasket decides for you, take it to 27th because they offer a three year warranty on all their repairs. They will also work with you and do whatever needs to be done to get to the bottom of the problem, putting all of the team's heads together. Rebuilding may take time, patience, and understanding for all involved, but it will get done right. I'm glad I invested the time and money in my beloved vehicle, because i know it's now protected for years to come. Hector the mechanic is my g for life and he is never allowed to retire lol! Thanks to Joaquin and his team!

Excellent service repair visit. I’ll be taking my Outback to this independent shop again in the future. Very fair pricing. Thanks again for a job well done.

I've resisted leaving a negative review, as I typically do not. But honesty is the best policy and I get a wave of frustration every time I drive by this place based on principal. It began when I brought in my van, which I had requested a transmission service. I bought the van new, and have driven every mile on the van. The very next morning after the transmission service, the van was making a really bad whining sound. I brought it back to 27th St. Automotive, and they claimed that it needed a power steering service, for $270. So, magically, a van that was working perfectly upon the transmission service, was suddenly completely out of power steering fluid, and required a full power steering service. They claimed it was expensive because it is hydraulic fluid, instead of power steering fluid. But what are the odds, a vehicle I've put 70,000 miles on myself, and have been the sole driver of since 2019 when bought new off the lot, and the VERY NEXT DAY after getting a service here, it suddenly had an issue with the power steering? Most likely, the fluid was drained by 27th St. Automotive. And rather than fixing and it and saying "sorry, something happened while servicing your transmission" they omitted any blame on themselves, and charged me $270 to fix their mistake. Now the story gets worse. I gave them the benefit of the doubt, and I brought in my truck, a Ram 1500, to have a sound diagnosed. It was coming from the rear-end of the truck. I told them upon dropping it off, that it was likely the differential bearing kit, as I am pretty savvy with vehicles and I know the sound. THIS IS WHAT IS BANANAS!!!! The sign out front says "Free Diagnostics". But, this is absolutely false. They charged me $200 to tell me that they cannot give me an accurate quote to fix the differential until they take it apart. They said that it could be $1500, but most likely would be $3100. What's worse, is they put on over $10,000 of "work" that needed to be done on my truck, including new suspension (my suspension is 1 year old), spark plugs (those were done 20k miles ago), water pump, gaskets, suspension links, you name it, literally over $10k of work on a 2013 truck that runs fine. While some of the things on their diagnostic were true, like a leaking water pump, I did not take the truck in to have them diagnose all of these things. I took the truck in to have them give me a quote on the differential, which they could not do. Funny as it is, I was able to get the differential repaired by a specialist for $1200 (not $3,100 as quoted by 27th) in 24 hours time. This same specialist said that 27th St. Automotive doesn't even repair the differentials there. They send them to the specialist, and then up-charge their customers. I know that this is often "business as usual" but it was the nail in the coffin for me to know how this business works. It's quite obvious that they have a big new expensive building they need to pay for, and they are taking every opportunity to up-charge their customers to pay for it. It's not at all a place I would recommend, and I'll never step foot in there again. Why? Because you should not put "free diagnostic" on your sign, and then as soon as someone drops off their vehicle, tell them they owe you $200 for diagnosing it. It would be one thing if they actually took apart my differential, and told me the exact quote for how much it would cost. This makes sense, as there is work involved in doing so. But to say "sorry, we can't tell you how much it will cost until you commit to having us repair it" and still charge me the $200? This is absolutely poor business, and the only reason I am leaving two stars instead of one, is because the Kandis, the receptionist, was really kind. Avoid this place.

They were very good at communicating with me about what was going on. The price hd to change for the repair because of the complexity of the repair. The mechanic called and talked me through why the price had to change. Very happy with them.

They really care about you, your car, and your safety on the road. The team is amazing and will be coming here for any concerns with my cars. Daniel is such a great help, very charismatic and really treats you more than just a customer. Wonderful place! P.S. the lobby is very inviting and comfortable, waiting in there is not bad at all
