27th automotive is awesome! I get a full inspection report that I can review before they do anything on my car and approve or decline any additional services. I have a great peace of mind knowing my car will get the care it needs without them pushing additional services. I am so glad to have found a shop that I feel has my best interest in mind. And they’re so fast!

Professional service, a fair price and reasonably speedy turnaround time was what I wanted. It was my 1st visit and I'll be back. All expectations were exceeded!! When you need a high-end Jeep battery installed these days, it's not a DIY project anymore! Fortunately Trish and the service team at "27th" knew exactly what to order and get it installed. The ONLY negative thing was the timing during the Christmas holiday - they had it back to me the same day though! I now have an amazing go-to for for all my Jeep maintenance, that's local, friendly, competent and reliable - such a pleasure to have 27 Automotive as my first choice!

Great location for anybody on the north side of town. They take photos of everything and have a great system for granting permission to work on things. Super clear and honest in their communication. This is my new forever mechanic.

Love this place. They figured out my car right away, when other places looked right past things and told me the problem was something else. My car came out driving way better and for less than what I thought. With other problems being addressed as well. Super friendly too. Love this place.

They also cleaned the fuel injectors. Very friendly and knowledgeable about the car. We will be going back to them.

Your work was fine, it was me who screwed up. I assumed our Honda Fit did not have a block heater when I bought it to begin with and so was NOT installed. So I asked for a NEW block heater! Presto...take out the original and install another new one! And pay double to have a block heater! Anybody need a block heater?

My car had a complex issue with its tires. Despite not having the necessary equipment, the people at 27th automotive were very helpful over the course of several months. They even paid for another shop to take a look at it. Very satisfied with everything about the shop, except for the equipment they used to balance tires. Point S has better equipment in that regard.

27th Street Auto took great care to restore my car after a wreck this summer. They were patient as insurance took forever to come out to inspect it, and kept my car safe in their lot during that time. They’re an excellent West End neighborhood mechanic and I won’t be going anywhere else!

I've been taking my vehicles to 27th St. Automotive for over 10 years and I have always been really happy with the service. I really appreciate the level of communication. I get texts as the service progresses and pictures of diagnosis and repairs. I take my wife's 2018 Rav 4 to stay current on all of the factory recommended maintenance.

Joaquin and the staff at 27th St. Automotive have been my go to service technicians for years. I recently had the engine replaced on my truck as well as other parts and services and I am thrilled with both the work done and the service I received. Delivery of parts and services rendered was done within a reasonable amount of time and the quote given was met exactly. When I brought the truck home another issue was identified that had nothing to do with work already performed and they took care of both the parts and labor for me! I could not be more satisfied. Thank you!!!

Despite the bumper sticker on the service manager’s desk reminding me to practice “Positivity”, it’s difficult to feel that way when you’re being ridiculous ripped off. The “free vehicle inspection” is anything but free when you’re charging customers over $400 to replace spark plugs (@$30 per plug)! Also, you quoted me over a $150 for an engine degrease, which doesn’t fix anything that is wrong, simply allows you to “see” the problem ? The problem I see is that you won’t be getting my business in the future. Sorry I had to learn the hard way….perhaps this review will prevent others from doing the same.

I went to 27th street after some issues with my car and they were amazing! Especially Danny at the front, quite the handsome and kind fellow. My car was repaired quickly within a day. Maybe a little pricey but it’s completely reasonable due to the high quality and speed of service and after all, I’m a college student so most things are pricey to me 😅.I 100% recommend!

I randomly choosen 27th Street Auto. I was looking for a privately owned Mechanic shop, I am Anti-Major mechanic shops, especially dealerships! These small shops are TREMENDOUSLY superior. Megan, service Manager, is very kind and knowledgeable. She offered my dog some water, it's not a big deal, but it's the small things of showing she cares. Those are most important to me. Good people results in honest work. I will gladly return for service, no question. If your looking for a good shop, here you go.
