Always had a great experience, the guys are very honest. Didn't tell anyone this, but I left a large chuck of cash in my car one-time, wasn't the smartest. Was still there when getting the car back.

19th Avenue Garage is a fantastic and trustworthy auto shop. They give prompt personal service at a reasonable price. We take all our cars here and have for several years. Several people that work for us and our friends have made this theor go to shop as well. On occasion the issue is beyond the scope of their shop and they always refer you to someone that can help you. If you want good service at a fair price there is no place better than 19th Ave Garage

This place is totally awesome!! 😎I was in such need bc my partner had died in the hospital an they came out an gave me a ride to a motel for the night, then came & picked me up at Denny's to c abt the ticket to get my car outta the garage at St Joseph's hospital, I just made off like I lost the ticket bc then it only cost me $10 to get my car outta there bc I was there for abt a week !! He was so understanding an so nice! Louis u rule!! An so do u Alberto!! Thx guys for everything!!

I was having a bad day, but they made it much better. Diagnosed as needing an alternator and battery recharge. Got me right in. Got the part. Installed. And I was on my way. I've been going there for years with Steve, Russ, JR, and the boys. Highly recommend !

My fan belt snapped and I live just down the street from here .. got a tow truck for free(thanks liberty mutual lol) and Russ and Steve were very kind and got my car in and out so fast! They didn’t try to rip me off and they are very professional. Would recommend 👍🏼

Russ stayed late in order for me to arrive. He promised that my van would be ready the next morning. It was! It was fairly priced. He is trustworthy. Gave me an estimate of additional work that I know about. No pressure. Highly recommend.

I have always worked on my own vehicles. But with long work hours I sometimes take my car to the 19th ave garage. Steve, Russ and JR have done a great job yet again. I brought my car in because of a leak in my AC condenser. They had it fixed very promptly.It is a true blessing to have this shop in this part of town. I feel they are straightforward, honest and reasonably priced. Thank you for another great job!

Had a bad experience at Firestone on Thomas and 38th ( they are closed now) 5 yrs ago… got charged a lot for a job smaller job. Was still having trouble. Got recommended to 19th Ave and they took really good care of me. They noticed the previous work was not the best, they corrected it and it was cheaper as a bonus. I have since gotten to know the owner Steve very well. Russ and JR who are multi decade staples of the shop call me by name, know my vehicle and tell me straight up when I don’t need to spend money on something if it can be helped. In 5 years, I’ve never had to bring my vehicle back to redo something, when they fix it.. it’s fixed. I love the personal touch of this shop and you will surely be taken care of , I would recommend them as the fairest shop in Phoenix. Give them a try.

Actually thought I had already left a review but I see I haven't so thought I would jump in here and give the guys 5 stars. Even that new young kid that works the front desk Russ is great (haha) Seriously though I found these guys on Google a few years back. They were literally a 5 minute walk from where I lived so I figured I'd give them a shot. My old jeep had constant issues and 1 day BEFORE I was looking at around a $1500 bill Russ and JR pointed out it might be time to move on from the vehicle. These guys could of let me waste more money on that Jeep and bleed me but they didn't. Couple years later and I am still a loyal customer and wouldn't go anywhere else. They are very fair and honest as well as it's actually a good time while you are waiting in the shop. Between Steve and that kid Russ they can keep a good conversation going. Thank you Steve, JR, all the other guys and that youngster Russ. I hope he turns this into a career seems like he might be a natural HAHA thanks guys!

I really wanted to love them but I can’t. Took my 99 Amigo in for an AC repair. They fixed an irrelevant problem and took my money. Brought it back two days later with no AC again and they found the actual problem and want another $900 to fix it. Moral of the story is, they were too busy being fast and friendly to be thorough and now I’m out the money and still no AC.

My front end was so bad my wheel came off. Two days later I'm driving comfortably and safely thanks to the folks at 19th Ave Garage. I've been going there for a few years now as I know I can trust the mechanics. Absolutely recommend!

The most honest mechanics in town. Another company was going to charge me $1500 for repairs. Brought it to them and they just tightened something that was loose for free. Been using them for years and will continue. Friendly people as well!

WONDERFUL! We've been bringing our vehicles to Russ and Steve for several years. They are friendly, informative, and honest. We never feel like we are being sold unnecessary services, and they do not overcharge. Trustworthy service center! Recommend 10/10! (Bonus: they sometimes have donuts in the morning!!)
